I don’t know if any of you ever watched movies as a kid that you had horrible dreams about, or remembered because they freaked you out. But I have 2. “The Wizard of Oz” which I still cannot watch - that stupid Wicked Witch! (haha, I know!) and “Alice in Wonderland” the version from 1985. AH. Okay, so I was searching eBay this afternoon when I found it! I couldn’t remember what year it was from so I searched YouTube and that’s the clip I found; which is the movie that FREAKED me right the heck out. Why? I’m not exactly sure but I remember very distinctly I would have nightmares about me being small and BIG HUGE things flying at me or I’d grow really big and not be able to fit into doors. I also believe I would drink a potion that read “Drink Me” and stuff right out of the movie! LOL it was terrifying as a Child. Now, I think its rather hilarious so I bought the dvd from ebay and I’m now awaiting its arrival. I’m stoked, it will be fun to watch and see how much of a dork I was. I will for sure have to blog about it after I watch it again.. it’s been years since I’ve seen it, I don’t think I’ve seen it since I was at least 5 or 6. Wait for that entry.. it should be interesting.

Before ending this entry I want to ask anyone who prays to please say a Prayer for Amanda. She is currently in hospital in ICU. It’s all over the internet what’s happened to her, and I’ve posted on a mb or two in support and asking for prayer and thoughts of support and get well. Just please everyone keep her in your thoughts, and hope she gets well. Her baby girl needs her Mommy, and we are all rooting for her, so please Amanda pull through this… we know you can do it! So, if you don’t pray please send her good vibes, and think happy thoughts for her and her baby girl.

We finally finished painting our kitchen! I love it. I seriously didn’t think it would turn out as well as it did. Next all we have to do is paint our living room and get our laminate installed. Then I’ll never want to leave the house! Seriously though, it’s something I’ve wanted to do for a long time is paint our main floor. We’ve done the bathroom upstairs, and all 3 bedrooms but the main floor walls have been ick since the day we moved in. Our main floor bathroom was a pale purple when we moved in, it’s now a moss. Our kitchen was a gross yellow, now light choclat (although it seems way dark to be light!) and our living room shall soon be sweetwood. I realized I never posted a pic of my main floor bathroom the other day when I posted about it so here it is, isn’t it cute? I really am loving how everything is turning out! We have lived here for over 3 years now and its just now starting to feel comfortable and almost like its finally really our home, if you know what I mean. Anyway, Of course in the photo of the kitchen I had just finished wiping the counters so Kyla had to help me out, shes such a great little helper as are all my children but she was the only one who happened to be at home during that time! Ava had her eye appointment today at the hospital. It went well, but she does still have to wear her patch :( The problem with glasses/patch is she will wear her glasses no problem but the patch annoys her now. It used to never bother her but after about an hour with the patch on she will rip it off and say “Haha, I took my patch off!” I know she has to wear them so to make it fun and cute my hubby and I decided to order funky patches. They had a deal to pick any 3 sets of 17 for $15. So We chose 6 sets. 2 sets of pink ones with princess tiaras, ones with stars, ones with puppies & kittens, ones with butterflies, and ones with hearts on them! She loved them when I showed them to her online and to make it even more special for her I had them shipped in her name. So when it comes to the door it will be for Ava, and she will get to open them! I’m hoping this helps encourage her as we don’t want her to have to wear them forever… but if she doesn’t start wearing them to strengthen the one eye which she doesn’t favor, then she might have to so we need to get her wearing them for the 4 hours a day she needs to.

Also.. I didnt really make it a big deal in my last entry but I am going to start doing random giveaways on top of the big ones I am doing. Random ones to regular commenters… I will use a few entries, gather the comments and those who comment frequently will have a chance to win something.. I will of course use Random.org and show how I got the winners! This wont be anything big like my regular giveaways but just something as a “thank you” for coming here, reading about my family and sharing your comments! I will still have the other giveaways too I just want more action going on around here to make it fun. So what that said… good luck!

I’m posting this as a warning. Google is a great tool.. if someone searches the email addresses or key words in this post it might help someone else out.

My husband was searching for some jobs online, to see if he could find something to do on the side when he came across one that caught his eye.

Customer Services Individuals Wanted For Data Entry Positions

The ad said:

working from home or where ever you have INTERNET access
earn $250-$500 per week
full training provided
completely legitimate with the American Business Standards for on line work
you set your own hours
we send the work and explain how to do it

So my husband sent her his resume like she had requested, and she wrote back saying all he had to do was send $10 to her paypal and she would send him the “training guide” so.. not knowing, he sent her the $10 and waited.

A few hours later he received an e-mail with this so called “Training Guide”.. it was nothing more than a bunch of words thrown together (and misspelt) telling him to re-post HER same ad’s on Craigslist, Kijiji, Monster and all these other free ad site to get $10 out of people and keep it going. The job wasn’t a data entry job, it was a scam. Re-posting false job ads telling people they could make all this extra income. When really, they were stealing $10 from people who were in need of jobs or like my husband just looking for something he could do for a little extra spending money online.

When I realized how much of a scam this was. I contacted her from my husbands email address telling her this was in fact a SCAM and I wanted our $10 back or I would be contacting the Cyber Crimes line with the Ontario Provincial Police Department to report her scamming money. She e-mailed me back the following:

non refundable and sorry to say but my father is a cop and he said it may be nice but its not illegal as it states clearly no refund and alos because if you follow the guide you will make the money it promises NO REFUNDS

Of course this just pissed me off even more so I responded with the following:

I don’t care if your “father is a cop” this isn’t a job, its a STEALING. and I will be making the phone call. I called yesterday and spoke to our local police and this is a scam. So you can state non refundable all you want - if I follow the training guide I’d make money? scamming people isn’t a job. I replied to your ad seeking a JOB. A DATA ENTRY JOB. Not so I could re-post the same ads you are trying to steal peoples money. its a scam and a crime. I’m out $10 so therefore I can contact the OPP scam line and paypal to report you. If your father was a cop he’s clearly not a very good one. the guide “promises?” the guide has so many spelling mistakes, and so many promises but it is a scam. good try, and good luck. You had your chance to refund my money, now I am contacting the proper authorities who deal with cyber crimes, scams and fraud.

I called the OPP scam line, and they were pissed. I told the lady on the phone I wasn’t too worried about the $10 I just am irritated this girl is trying to pull this off as a job. The OPP said it doesn’t matter if its just $10. So even if $10 is insignificant to me, and may seem small it is not and they requested all the information I had, and said this is very much a scam, fraud and theft. People are replying to these ad’s thinking they are going to be hired for a data entry job, not told to keep re-posting bogus ads. The lady told me that if my husband had started posting the ads and taking peoples money, and others filed reports like I did he would be doing the same as her and would have to deal with what this girl will now have to deal with.

While I was on the phone with the crime like she sent us this:

guess what like you I bought the guide and like the person ahead of me she bought it look on line you will see hundreds of these if you really think the cops ate worried about $10 you are sadly mistaken hone we live in the real world where real crimes happen and yes |I looked into it after I bought the guide for 15 bucks and they would do nothing for me either

REALLY? My last, and final reply this woman will ever get out of me:

Actually they do care. There is a whole unit for this stuff alone. I’ve already filed the complaint. Yes we do live in the real world and its sad people who are actually looking for jobs get taken advantage of by people like you. They have all of your information, and cragslist and kijiji have been contacted. You may think its petty, and yes $10 is but you posted an ad for a job not for people to join your scam. Say what you will, the complaint has been filed. This is a crime, contact them yourself and see for yourself. Do not contact me again, this is in the hands of the authorities who yes do take this kind of thing VERY seriously, $10 or not.

So any more e-mails she writes me I’ll be directing right over to the cyber crimes unit. I don’t care if it was $10 I found ad’s placed by her with the amount changed to $15 and even $20. So, if she keeps getting all this money… WOW. And not a lot of people actually know about this OPP cyber crimes line. I had no idea, but I’m glad I did contact them that way she can be stopped. She has this ad posted even in the US kijiji and in pretty much every major city’s Kijiji in Canada. I couldn’t even believe it.

I will follow up and keep updating as this is on going. The OPP cyber crimes people take this so seriously, they were very helpful and the lady I spoke to seemed very pissed off over this whole thing.

So, if you come across this ad or others like it BEWARE. Watch out for the email addresses servicehelp2010@hotmail.com , workers46@live.com and her fake company “SERVICEHELP2010″

I love online shopping!!! I’ve been going on e-bay a lot and doing some shopping! Three weeks ago I got a ps2 video game that I had been searching locally for almost 2 years now and couldn’t find - its called Dark Cloud. I got it for $14.99 with shipping! Then I ordered Bumpits! Those things are incredible. I’m now waiting for 3 silicone Blackberry Curve 8900 cases in 3 different colors and some EZ Combs for my hair! :) I love ebay the prices on things that are brand new are just insane! I love it.

Just over a week ago now I bought a new Blackberry Curve 8900! I had the pearl, but that went to my husband since his phone broke so I’m on cloud 9 with my curve. Its fast, its so pretty and works like a charm. I bought a case that protects the keys and had an LCD protector for $29.99 but of course the LCD protector kept getting dusty, and hair under it when I was trying to put it on I tried so many times it snapped in half. :S Oh well, I never let this thing out of my sight so it shouldn’t get scratched. My old pearl had a few little scratches on the screen but being in a silicone case it has nothing on the body!!! I’m so anal about scratches and bumps.

I don’t know about any of you but I just joined the world of “online shopping” and I love it! I have so far bought 3 things online and already want to do more. About a week and a half ago I bought 2 books from amazon. I bought “Belly Laughs” and “Baby Laughs” by Jenny McCarthy. Belly Laughs came yesterday, and Baby Laughs just came this morning! I bought them both used, one for $1.60 and the other $4.50 both are hardcover and in amazing condition. Neither one looks like they’ve been read before. I’ve already starting reading Belly Laughs and its hilarious, and great. I really recommend to anyone who is pregnant, trying to get pregnant or already a Mommy!

The other thing I bought online was for our new bundle on the way. I bought him personalized pacifiers. I got a pack of 3 for $25.. I’m still waiting for them to arrive but they estimated 3 weeks so I’m waiting patiently. I’m excited, I just had his first name printed on them - so so cute. I posted a photo of it on my flickr the day I ordered them.

I will admit buying online was great - It’s a lot easier as a Mommy of 3 who is VERY pregnant to not have to bring the kids around from store to store. Don’t get me wrong I do love going out of the house to shop, and will continue to do so because I don’t intend to buy too much more online but it sure is an easy and quick way of doing it! If you are an online shopper and are looking for a great sale I suggest you click that link. Great site, with a lot of great deals weekly.

Just wondering why people online feel the need to talk trash about others online???? Why do people feel the need to say such harsh rude things to people who are in the “cam girl” scene?? I really don’t get it…. Mind your own business.

I’ve never done the cam girl thing, never would… but I don’t see why people feel the need to bring others down? Who cares if people want to take pictures of themselves for the internet? I just dont see why people have to be so petty and immature.
