I am sick still. It’s awful. I can’t even breathe out of my nose, and my throat is rather scratchy and I sound like I could lose my voice at any minute. This is not fun.

This morning we had to walk over to my mother in law’s to visit with her and my hubbys Grandma before they drove her back to Toronto. It was a good visit we stayed about an hour and a half. The girls and Jordan rode their bikes, and I pushed Jayden in his stroller there and my hubs pushed him on the way back. It was a great walk, we need to do family walks more often. I love them!

After dinner tonight I decided to make some banana chip muffins. I searched and found so many recipes and got a general idea for recipes, the one I really liked used plain yogurt.. I switched it for unsweetened apple sauce and shockingly they turned out amazing. I didn’t have muffin cups, so I just greased the tin and they don’t look as good as they taste but, YUM. I’m so glad I made them! I will post my recipe tomorrow!

Well, I want to run and have a nice bath. My tattoo is healing nicely but its rather sore so I won’t be able to have it in the water too long but I am frozen so I’m going to have one anyways. Before I go though, a friend of mine posted this video on her facebook and I just had to share it. How beautiful, sweet and cute is this? Not to mention the message it sends, and the message they say at the end of the video..

Great message. Now if only everyone would listen, and perhaps change their views/opinions and be a little open.. the world would be a much better place.

Well today started off on the wrong foot. I don’t understand why people feel the need to be ignorant and inconsiderate. Really, I don’t think it’s that hard to be a civilized human being.. am I wrong? I’d like to rewind and go back to the weekend please… I’m over this day.

Anyways, My Mother’s day was good. I pretty much had a full Mother’s day weekend. It was good. Saturday morning I woke up to french toast and sausages in bed! My hubby had let me sleep in, and he brought me breakfast in bed. How sweet. We all just hung out and I had to take Jordan out to get him new indoor shoes for school - again - even though I just did what? a month ago.. That kid’s feet grow like crazy. I came home and had an awful migraine so I just laid around on the couch being lazy. My hubby was home so he just picked up and watched the kiddos while I rested. Sunday, I woke up again later than usual… I came downstairs and get handed 2 cards and a box of Chocolates! I was surprised as I wasn’t expecting anything because my tattoo is suppose to be my Mother’s Day gift! Jordan had written in my card from the kids it was adorable, and my card from my hubby was beautiful. We hung out all day, Hubby had a roast in the slow cooker which we had last night for dinner.. I made some jello and Chocolate chip cookies.. It was a great weekend!

Jordan made me this beautiful photo. It’s laminated and has his hand prints as flowers. I totally cried when he gave it to me Friday after school. At the top it says: “#1 Mom, Happy Mother’s day! Love Jordan” and on the bottom it says: “I might be a handful sometimes but know that I love you and appreciate everything you do for me!” I’m very sentimental and these types of things really touch my heart. My kids mean the world to me and I really don’t need a day like “Mother’s Day” to appreciate being a mother and having my children, because I do everyday. I’m so thankful they are in my life, and I created them (with help obviously!) I am so full of love for these 4 little human beings, I can’t even begin to describe!

Jordan also made me this little video, it’s a poem he wrote really quickly because he wanted me to have a video of him up on my site too… Aw:

He’s just too cute for words! I really have great kids. I know everyone says that about their kids but, I really do. At least I think so, and that’s all that matters:)

Do you know what is heaven? The limited edition Cookie Dough Drumstick that’s what! Oh boy, I swear I could gain all my pregnancy weight back by eating those things! You’d think I was pregnant by how yummy they are, and the way I’ve been craving them. Oh well, With all the walking I’ve been doing lately with the dog and kids I can burn whatever I eat off… right? RIGHT! They are delicious though.. My hubby loves them too, and he isn’t a huge fan of sweets. If you can find them, give them a try.. You won’t be disappointed! I try to keep my sweets in moderation because truthfully if I ate the things I crave I don’t think any amount of walking or exercise would help me out. So, moderation is key! Let’s just hope I can stay strong and keep it going. HAHA. Wish me luck!

I’ve been to a lot of blog’s lately and a lot of them are all filled with food, recipes and things like that. I love it because I find great things to make all the time that I wouldn’t even think about making before I stumbled upon them. The only picky eater I have is Jordan. The girls and Jayden eat anything and everything. I think Jordan got his picky eating from me though. I am a very picky eater. If Jordan says he doesn’t like something, I’ll try it because if I eat it he will too in most cases. Even if I don’t like something I stomach it just to see if he’ll try it. Do any of you have picky eaters? if so, any tips or suggestions that could help with getting him to eat out of his comfort zone?

Now, before I end this I wanted to post this video from a couple of days ago. It’s very short, but very cute. It’s Ava skipping… Or at least what she thinks is skipping. I don’t have the heart to tell her otherwise, because she is so proud and she is so happy doing it this way.. so she can do it until her hearts content!

What do you think, cute eh? I have to get more videos of the kids doing cute things. They do all the time, but like usual I always forget to video it all. I will be better, I want to start making all my little videos into a DVD for when the kids are older! I say it all the time, but maybe if I keep saying it I’ll eventually learn to VIDEO things!

Well as you all know Jayden turned 10 months old on April 6th. On April 8th he finally started crawling! I know boys do things slower than girls, but I was beginning to think Jayden would never start crawling! I was wrong.. He crawls now - all over the place! Yesterday I was trying to get a good video of it but everytime I held the camera Jayden would stop, or the girls would act silly and try to jump into the videos! The girls laid on the floor last night and used their little bracelets to get Jayden to crawl to them. The video is short because Kyla stole one of Ava’s bracelets and Ava began to scream so I cut it short… But here is a few seconds of Jayden crawling! Too cute..

Yesterday we all went out because my hubby starts a new job tomorrow and he needs new shoes so while he went with Jordan and Jayden to look for new shoes I took the girls with me into Micheal’s the craft store. Last time we went I found white canvas bags, hats, purses, puppets etc so I wanted to let the kids pick out which of them they wanted to decorate and see what else I could find. Daddy, Jordan and Jayden joined us within a few minutes because they had no luck with shoes at Winners or MWWH… So Kyla picked a purse, Ava a backpack and Jordan a hat! I got a bunch of cool things for them to stick on them, and we got a Dog Tag making kit too! Yesterday we made the Dog tags which were very successful and the kids just loved how they turned out.. of course, I took photos! (click to enlarge)

Well I hope everyone is having a good weekend. Its a bit chilly here I haven’t been able to get the kids out as much as I’d like to.. Hopefully this coming week gets a little warmer. Otherwise, back to Micheal’s I go to stock up on craft supplies! This coming week Jordan’s school is doing a turn off the tv challenge so playing outside, doing some crafts, and other things besides watching tv will be going on in our house!

I was just watching the view and they were showing a PSA with Bristol Palin. I watched it, and had to rewind to watch it again…

I believe teen pregnancy, like any pregnancy, can be prevented… but I think a lot of teens if they want babies or are going to have unprotected sex and don’t care about having babies or not then this probably isn’t the right message. This isn’t what happens to most teen moms. Sure, the guy usually doesn’t stick around ( duh! ) but I think they could have done something a little more real life. At least, something that would be more believable. I get the message they are trying to say, but a little immature teenager looking for love and affection might not. It just made me think that if some teenager is thinking about getting knocked up this probably wouldn’t change their mind.

Like most of you know I was a teen mom. I’m very proud of how I handled teen pregnancy and my life after my mom died when I was 16. Not everyone is like me, and not everyone has a great experience as a teen parent but I just find all these messages to be a little far fetched and people would just be like “whatever” at them, I know I would have back when I was 16 and trying to get pregnant.

Anyways, I do not recommend teen pregnancy - I just wish these PSA’s and things would be a little more realistic and then maybe there would be a lot less babies being born to unfit parents, less people having abortions or so many babies being put up for adoption.

I woke up this morning to my necklace I bought off etsy! It’s so cute, and having the kids names on it and birth stones totally makes this necklace my new fave! Under the birthstones it says MOM and has a little heart engraved below it! How adorable is that? Not only is it really shiny, and really well made it gets peoples attention. I love it! Everyone I’ve shown it to loves it too! I wrote the lady who owns the shop and asked her if I could do a giveaway - I’ll find something on her site, and I’m going to get it and in the near future do a giveaway. I’m really impressed with my sweet little necklace I want to do a giveaway with one of her other pieces! And who doesn’t love free stuff? I know I do!! The weather is beautiful today! It’s starting today and suppose to go until Sunday being beautiful! We took the 3 little ones to the park (Jordan was in school!) and Jayden giggled, laughed and kicked his legs while in the swing - and the girls played on the climbers for a bit then spent the majority of the time rolling down the hill at the park.. I took some video of them rolling to share!

Too cute! Expect lots of videos and pictures this spring and summer. I’m such a huge photo freak and the odd time when I remember I’ll be able to get good videos too! One day I’m going to get around to putting all my videos onto a DVD and make extras for the kids and their keepsake boxes. I think they’d love them, and to show their families when they all grow up and get to see how silly and cute they were as kids!

I was watching tv the other day when the Evian commercial came on with these adorable little roller babies.. I thought I’d post it because it was just so gosh darn cute!

Not much really to blog about lately. We had an amazing March break weather wise. While Jordan was off school for 10 days it was nothing but bright skies and sweater weather! Really, really nice. He goes back to school tomorrow.. which hes really looking forward to!

Ava has her next eye doctor appointment Tuesday afternoon. We see if she gets her patch time taken down any or not. I’m hoping so, she hates it and takes it off within an hour of wearing it. Keeping it on her for 4 hours = good luck.

I bought paint on Friday for the living room, kitchen and downstairs bathroom. Yesterday I painted the downstairs bathroom. It’s “Shaded Moss” it’s a beautiful color, I love it.. I will have to post photos once I get everything done!

I want to do a picture post sometime this week. I haven’t done one in a long time, usually it was Photo Friday but I think I am going to just do them randomly whenever I want…

Right now I’m about to get things together for dinner. I’m making Chicken Bake! YUM. I also want to start painting the kitchen after dinner tonight. I got “Light Chocolate” for the kitchen and a color called “Sweetwood” for the living room. It’s going to look great in here once I get the painting done. It’s in need of a facelift in here big time.. the walls haven’t been painted since we moved in 3 yrs ago (just the bedrooms we did!) I can’t wait to get it done.

It’s been a very long time since I’ve posted a video. I used to do it all the time but I never even think about it anymore to be honest with you. Whenever theres an “Oh my gosh, must capture” moment I always just grab my camera and snap away.. Now, hopefully I’ll start to remember the video option. Anyways, I’ve posted videos of Ava and her dancing queen moments, and videos of the kids dancing together but I have yet to post one of baby Jayden. So, everyone this is Jayden!

ISN’T THAT JUST THE CUTEST? I couldn’t resist taking a ton of photos of him, but my hubby suggested a video - of course, because I didn’t think of it! - so I figured I might as well share cause I just thought it was full of cuteness. He just recently within the past month learned to sit up on his own (lazy baby!) and he’s always been rocking.. Ever since we got him the Jumperoo.. He’s a jumping/rocking baby! He’d rock and jump if you were holding him, he’d rock while he danced to music.. So Kyla brought this upstairs for him to play with and of course he loved it!! So there you have it, my baby boy! (don’t mind the kids you can hear in the background.. they were in the kitchen finishing dinner with daddy.. and Ava was yelling at everyone!)

In other news I’ve decided to start doing giveaways every month. I’ll start doing them the first week of every month; I need some ideas though! I’m not exactly sure what to do for my 1st. I want it to be geared for everyone not just mommies and mommy to bes. Of course I’ll have tons of those, which I already have so many good ideas for but the 1st one I want to be for everybody. So suggestions are welcome!

I need to get site back to the way it was before I had Jayden. Of course I’m super busy with 4 kids, but at night or when they nap during the day I can pop on and get things done, I miss interacting with everyone and people actually coming around to say hi! My stats tell me people are still coming, they just aren’t saying hello anymore. Please, if you stumble upon my little piece of the web here.. say hello!

Before I end this I just want to ask; has anyone been watching the Dr. Phil family? I will be doing a blog about it in the next few days - So if you’ve been watching the show, look out for my post! Also, I’ve heard a lot of talk lately about Sugar cleanses, Cranberry cleanses, and colon cleanse.. Do any of you do any of these types of things to get your body cleaned out? if so what do you do?
