I’ve known for years this guy is a killer. A psycho, disgusting killer. I know he is guilty for whatever did happen to Natalee Holloway. Just like everyone knew Casey Anthony killed baby Kaylee Anthony. I’m beyond disgusted he’s been on the loose until now. It’s a shame really, someone else had to die before anything was done. A FBI sting took place where he walked away with $25,000 to give the whereabouts of Natalee’s body. Anyone who even tries to do that should be in jail PERIOD. Gonna lie about where a dead body is to get the money? GO TO JAIL. Really know where the dead body is? GO TO JAIL. Why was this dirt bag still on the loose?

I’ve been reading every story CNN comes out with the past few days. I’m usually pretty good at figuring things out, so I ask again… Why was this dirt bag still on the loose? No one seems to know the answer. But the answer that keeps being given is “Not enough evidence” okay, how much more evidence do you need than the taped confession that his friend got while driving Joran around in a vehicle? Or what about the fact he approached Natalee’s mother to get the money arranged by the FBI in the sting. I don’t care if it was “Private Funds” Joran van der Sloot was funded with while giving “a” loaction of Natalee’s body. The fact of the matter is he approached them, he took the money, and the told them of a location. True or not, this screams guilty. Why was he able to walk away after ANY of this? Wrong location? So what, he gave a location. Yet he was still able to walk away… Of course he’s not going to give the location of her body. It’s long gone. Probably in the bottom of the sea, or eaten by sharks. Who knows. But of course hes not going to give it up, sure lets tell for some money - and end up in jail not even able to use the money. The guy is an TOP NOTCH IDIOT but I think hes a little smarter than that.

Regardless, as of today he was charged with the murder of Stephany Flores Ramirez. From what I’ve been reading all over the place he went to the store, came back found her reading his laptop which had evidence linking him to the disappearance of Natalee Holloway.. she wanted to leave. He wouldn’t let her. She ended up beaten, with a broken neck dead on the floor of his hotel room.

If none of this screams GUILTY for both of these women I don’t know what else does. I’m slightly irritated by the whole thing… Maybe I’ve been reading too much about this over the years, probably got a lot of false information, but hey… to me he looks 110% guilty and I personally think he deserves a lot more than to sit in prison.

Who am I to say anything though? :/ I know I’m surely not alone in my thoughts though…. right?

I just got off the phone with the Post Office. When I had my last contest I had a winner from Canada and a winner from the US. When I went to send them I asked for 1 Canadian postage stamp, and 1 American. Clearly I need to pay more attention because apparently they gave me 2 Canadian stamps. I had been e-mailing back and forth with Cinda regarding the gift card. I keep asking her if she has gotten it, and last I talked to her she had not. Well now I know why. This afternoon when I just went to check my mail there was the envelope with a big red X over the stamp. Jeeze, thanks a lot.

So I called the post office and they said usually they send them regardless, but they aren’t anymore. How wonderful, so I told them the person I was sending it to has been waiting and this is very unprofessional for them to have sold me 2 of the same stamps when I asked for 2 different ones… to which they said I should have checked before sending. YEAH, CLEARLY. So its both my fault and the post office. Neither one of them had a Canadian or American flag so really, how was I to notice?? Stupid me.

So, Cinda I will be re-sending.. with the proper stamp. How friggin’ annoying.

Always check to make sure the post office who should know their stamps, don’t give you the wrong ones!

I wasn’t going to write about this show again after the last time but after watching this week’s show with the family I couldn’t hold back.

What is wrong with Alexandra? I don’t know how her family, or even Dr. Phil for that matter can just continue on with this girl. After Tony had a “Deceptive” lie detector test regarding Alexandra’s daughter Leilah.

Someone put bruises on her, someone had their hands around her neck. Now unless Alexandra, Her mom, Her sister, and her father take the test and fail or have a “Deceptive” result then clearly it was Tony.

I don’t get how Alexandra could blog about this and be so calm, and to me it looks like shes in some serious denial about this man…

When I first found out someone wrote a letter accusing Tony of hurting Leilah I was really upset. Tony and I sat down and talked for hours and I believed and felt comfortable with what he told me; however, sometimes I have doubts, because of the test and everything. Even though I believe Tony, I’m still going to keep a close eye on him when the baby comes and we get Leilah back, and things settle down. I plan to keep a closer eye on everything.

REALLY? Come on girl. Get a grip. Sometimes she has doubts. If I ever doubted the man who is living in my home, and who is around my children was harming my kids that man would be out on his ass.. or in jail. You do not put your hands on children. YOU DO NOT.

This little 2 year-old had marks on her neck, looking like someone tried to choke her. CHOKE HER. Who does that?

I really hope that behind the scenes at Dr. Phil a lot more is going on. I am confident there is a lot more going on behind the scenes I just wish they’d either get REAL serious with the situation of Alex and Tony, or just give up the show already.

I have missed the last few weeks of the show because I just am at my limit watching. When children’s safety is in question to me its not even a “lets discuss” or “lets take a lie detector test” to see.. its a “GET HIM THE HELL AWAY FROM THE CHILDREN” period type thing.

Anyways, if you watch.. discuss. If not, and you have kids or think you will in the future. If your S/O was accused of harming your child and got a “Deceptive” lie detector test in regards to this event what would you do?

Not much bothers me when it comes to the internet. I will admit I’m very hesitant about putting my children’s photos on here untagged, but other than that not much else gets to me. Until today when I decided to check my “Statpress” and I checked out what people are searching to get to my website, and search terms for my website and when I saw “whois amommysramblings.com” I was rather irritated. Sure, it comes with putting it all out there on the internet but seriously..? What are you looking for? Today isn’t the first time this search term has been searched either.. What do you want that isn’t on here? If it isn’t written on here, then take the hint… PRIVACY PLEASE.

Did you think I wouldn’t spend the extra $6 a year to get private whois? What are you trying to find.. my address, phone number?? and why? Why not leave a comment or shoot me an e-mail if you have a question or comment instead of 3 different times within 30 minutes searching “whois amommysramblings.com” . . . Unless you are trying to be a stalker in which case, have fun. I don’t put up with any of that crap.

This is a website for me to just vent, write about my day, share things with other parents, etc. If you really need to find out my private information I feel sorry for you. Online creepers are the worst. Here’s what you should do creepers: Turn off your computer, open your front door, go outside for a walk! There’s a whole world out there away from your computer.

Now with that said, How was everyone’s weekend? It was pretty great here. Yesterday was calling for rain but it didn’t rain until the wee hours of the morning this morning. So yesterday we spent the majority of the day outside, in our backyard. The kids just love it and I love sitting there stress free without worrying about chasing them around because our backyard is fully fenced in, with a pretty high wood privacy fence with a lock. I much rather have them out there instead of out front because people sitting in cars, blasting music or not watching their kids all over the place really gets to me. Backyard it is.

Jordan had a great time at his friend’s Birthday party. I’m glad, I knew he would because its a Party plus hello! It was at Chuck E Cheese. What kid doesn’t love a little bit of Chuck E??

So the other night I was bored. All the kids were in bed, my hubby was out so I decided to play Family Feud on facebook. Well, I got this question…Name an animal that some people think others are crazy for eating. I guessed all answered except one. Can you guess what answer I didn’t guess??? YUP. #1. Dog. I couldn’t believe it said that! Don’t believe me? Click on the photo to the left.. Yep, So of course being the person I am and being that I am a huge animal lover I googled it. At first I googled then I google image searched. DO NOT DO THAT!! Not the smartest thing I’ve ever done. Well, to my amazement a few cultures eat dog. Call me crazy or stupid for not knowing but I had no idea people actually did. My husband used to joke around when we’d order Chinese food or he’d eat random food that I had no idea what it was and say it was cat which upset me to no end, but when I read this I couldn’t believe it!

What is the craziest thing you’ve ever eaten? I can’t say I’ve eaten anything out of the norm. But, what the heck is norm anymore??? I don’t know but I understand people need to do what they need to do to live.. but dogs? Really? Ahhh, I guess because of how we are all brought up and the fact that I grew up with dogs and cats and couldn’t ever imagine eating them makes me unable to see this any other way but cruel. Some might argue eating chicken and pork chops just the same - however - I don’t have cows and pigs living in my home, sleeping in my bed! Although I do understand and wish I could stick to being vegetarian or even vegan. But regardless this is just so crazy to me. Little Lassie wouldn’t be too impressed either :/ And just for the record I think everything on that family feud list that came up is gross and wouldn’t ever eat… How about you?

So, Nancy won my 1st top commenter contest. I waited until I got a winner to order the prize (dumb, I know!) well I tried to order it the day she won but my paypal kept timing out. Ok, no biggie I’d keep trying again. So I did, and finally on Monday it worked. Well, turns out it didn’t go through so tonight I did it again and somehow while ordering/paying the order got so mixed up that it is going to the address Nancy request I send it to her at but IN MY NAME! … WHAT? I think it’s her work address too. ugh…

So..

Just when I thought that was bad enough.. Oh no, it gets worse… I’m on hold with the Lush number for 48 minutes and 32 seconds when all of a sudden.. IT HUNG UP ON ME. Oh yes, I believe someone was finally going to answer my call and instead of answering - they hung up! SUPER!

So, I called back and left a message. I paused, read my kids 2 stories, tucked them into bed and I’m again on hold waiting for my call to be answered.

NEVER.AGAIN. I will never order off lush.ca again. I’ve ordered off plenty of websites sending the purchase to someone as a gift, and I’ve never had this issue. I’ve never had to be on hold for this long unless it was to deal with a cell phone - but lush Canada? - really?… NOT IMPRESSED.

I better be able to get this fixed. Her prize isn’t much but its worth $20.98 with shipping so I’d like it to get to her. :/

When I think of how many children, teens and even adults go missing yearly it freaks me out. I couldn’t ever imagine going through such a tragedy of having someone close to me go missing, especially a child.

The fear of not knowing who took them, who they are with, what they are doing… Would destroy me. I watch too many tv shows that deal with these types of things: Criminal Minds the other day was on this very topic.

A little girl watch snatched right beside her mother, while her mother was watching another mother scream for her “lost child” … turns out she didn’t have a lost, child… she didn’t have a child at all. This was a ploy to get mothers to look away from their child for someone to grab the children.

How scary that in just one second of looking away; your kid could be gone.

People often question parents who use “leashes” on their children - but other than your children running off, or wandering off the fact someone could just grab your child is another good reason to use them. My daughter has a backpack that is a poodle, a pink poodle to be exact, and its got a little harness attached, and a “leash” with it if you will. We used it when we went downtown shopping in Toronto. I wasn’t letting my 3 year-old just hold my hand. It’s quite scary.

A week or so ago I was trying to find ANY website in Canada, or even Ontario that allowed me to find out what sexual predators, or pedophiles were living in and around my area. I couldn’t find any. The one I found - you had to be in law enforcement to login. What kind of help is that to us “non” law enforcement folks who have children.

I know our local police department alerts the public of REALLY high risk offenders when they are being released. But unless people go to the police website daily, how are we to know? I really got frustrated with this type of thing.

I get really bothered by the fact these types of people are able to live where so many children are… Children living, and schools…. It’s incredible to me. I think this information should be available to the public - especially parents. I don’t care if its a “security” risk for these offenders - maybe they shouldn’t offend? I just think it should be made public where these people live, and what they have done.

The US have many websites I came across, even detailed ones with maps showing where these creatures live.. If anyone knows of any site in Canda like this please contact me and let me know.

My husband was searching for some jobs online, to see if he could find something to do on the side when he came across one that caught his eye.

Customer Services Individuals Wanted For Data Entry Positions

The ad said:

working from home or where ever you have INTERNET access
earn $250-$500 per week
full training provided
completely legitimate with the American Business Standards for on line work
you set your own hours
we send the work and explain how to do it

So my husband sent her his resume like she had requested, and she wrote back saying all he had to do was send $10 to her paypal and she would send him the “training guide” so.. not knowing, he sent her the $10 and waited.

A few hours later he received an e-mail with this so called “Training Guide”.. it was nothing more than a bunch of words thrown together (and misspelt) telling him to re-post HER same ad’s on Craigslist, Kijiji, Monster and all these other free ad site to get $10 out of people and keep it going. The job wasn’t a data entry job, it was a scam. Re-posting false job ads telling people they could make all this extra income. When really, they were stealing $10 from people who were in need of jobs or like my husband just looking for something he could do for a little extra spending money online.

When I realized how much of a scam this was. I contacted her from my husbands email address telling her this was in fact a SCAM and I wanted our $10 back or I would be contacting the Cyber Crimes line with the Ontario Provincial Police Department to report her scamming money. She e-mailed me back the following:

non refundable and sorry to say but my father is a cop and he said it may be nice but its not illegal as it states clearly no refund and alos because if you follow the guide you will make the money it promises NO REFUNDS

Of course this just pissed me off even more so I responded with the following:

I don’t care if your “father is a cop” this isn’t a job, its a STEALING. and I will be making the phone call. I called yesterday and spoke to our local police and this is a scam. So you can state non refundable all you want - if I follow the training guide I’d make money? scamming people isn’t a job. I replied to your ad seeking a JOB. A DATA ENTRY JOB. Not so I could re-post the same ads you are trying to steal peoples money. its a scam and a crime. I’m out $10 so therefore I can contact the OPP scam line and paypal to report you. If your father was a cop he’s clearly not a very good one. the guide “promises?” the guide has so many spelling mistakes, and so many promises but it is a scam. good try, and good luck. You had your chance to refund my money, now I am contacting the proper authorities who deal with cyber crimes, scams and fraud.

I called the OPP scam line, and they were pissed. I told the lady on the phone I wasn’t too worried about the $10 I just am irritated this girl is trying to pull this off as a job. The OPP said it doesn’t matter if its just $10. So even if $10 is insignificant to me, and may seem small it is not and they requested all the information I had, and said this is very much a scam, fraud and theft. People are replying to these ad’s thinking they are going to be hired for a data entry job, not told to keep re-posting bogus ads. The lady told me that if my husband had started posting the ads and taking peoples money, and others filed reports like I did he would be doing the same as her and would have to deal with what this girl will now have to deal with.

While I was on the phone with the crime like she sent us this:

guess what like you I bought the guide and like the person ahead of me she bought it look on line you will see hundreds of these if you really think the cops ate worried about $10 you are sadly mistaken hone we live in the real world where real crimes happen and yes |I looked into it after I bought the guide for 15 bucks and they would do nothing for me either

REALLY? My last, and final reply this woman will ever get out of me:

Actually they do care. There is a whole unit for this stuff alone. I’ve already filed the complaint. Yes we do live in the real world and its sad people who are actually looking for jobs get taken advantage of by people like you. They have all of your information, and cragslist and kijiji have been contacted. You may think its petty, and yes $10 is but you posted an ad for a job not for people to join your scam. Say what you will, the complaint has been filed. This is a crime, contact them yourself and see for yourself. Do not contact me again, this is in the hands of the authorities who yes do take this kind of thing VERY seriously, $10 or not.

So any more e-mails she writes me I’ll be directing right over to the cyber crimes unit. I don’t care if it was $10 I found ad’s placed by her with the amount changed to $15 and even $20. So, if she keeps getting all this money… WOW. And not a lot of people actually know about this OPP cyber crimes line. I had no idea, but I’m glad I did contact them that way she can be stopped. She has this ad posted even in the US kijiji and in pretty much every major city’s Kijiji in Canada. I couldn’t even believe it.

I will follow up and keep updating as this is on going. The OPP cyber crimes people take this so seriously, they were very helpful and the lady I spoke to seemed very pissed off over this whole thing.

Well I knew I was afraid of snakes and I knew I didn’t like mice… Little did I know until last night how deathly afraid of mice I really am..

Last night after Jordan got home from his friends house I sent him upstairs to get his jammies on and told him he could fall asleep to his tv… He goes upstairs to get his jammies on and runs downstairs yelling “Stella has a mouse! Stella has a mouse in her mouth!” I’m like “Shut up.. are you sure its not your hamster?”

So I put my shoes on and grab a broom.. and I head upstairs. I get to the middle of the stairs and I hear it squeeling.. I get up there and theres my cat standing in the middle of Jordan’s room with this mouse. OMG!!!! I stand there and scream “Get it Stella! Get it!” and I slammed the door shut and ran downstairs…

Where the hell did this mouse come from? and why is it there?? Where we live we live in a townhouse with like 5 other houses attached… All our neighbors have had mice issues for months so one was bound to make its way over here.. and it sure did.

After crying, almost fainting and freaking out for over 2 hours (mouse and cat still locked in Jordan’s room) my hubby got home and went on the hunt for it… he couldn’t find it, and by this time it was midnight so we told Jordan we’d find it in the am and he was safe to go to sleep….Stella was under Jordan’s bunk beds where my hubby couldn’t get to so he would have to look in the light.. well he didnt need to…

This morning my hubby came downstairs and it was dead in half on my living room floor… YUCK!!! My hubby came to tell me, I didn’t believe him so I made him dig it out of the garbage and show me.. there it was! THANK GOSH!

Its getting really cold outside and everyone is turning on their heat so these little buggers try to get where the heat is… WRONG HOUSE!! I almost fainted and boy am I glad to have cats!

Basements are where everyone around here are finding them, or on their main floor so it makes me wonder HOW THE HELL did it get up to the 3rd floor? I at first thought it was a baby, but my hubby said it wasn’t… it wasnt a old adult, but it wasn’t a baby either.. But now its gone!

I’m so happy I went upstairs to find my cat who was sleeping on Jordans bed I gave her tons of pets and kisses! If any more scurry in here my cat will be sure to get it! My other cat RAN AWAY from it…. But at least we
know Stella is on the hunt!
