Another random post. It’s becoming a trend. But it keeps it interesting, yes?

Yesterday when my three littlest munchkins were taking a nap I was relaxing on the couch watching a soap (shh, don’t make fun!) I grabbed my phone and checked twitter. I saw that the account for Deadliest Catch was tweeting about viewing parties in some Cities in the States for tonight’s episode so of course I had to chime in and ask:

I didn’t get a reply back, but when I checked my followers I was surprised to see this:

WOOHOO.
Does anyone else get a bit teenager over when celebs or people/shows you really like follow you back? It can’t just be me. I don’t know, but I was a little bit of a 13 year old when I saw it and of course when my hubby got home I had to show him “LOOK! LOOK WHO IS FOLLOWING ME NOW!” ahha. /end nerd moment now. At least you all know that the simplest, and littlest things please me..

Well, I haven’t talked about Chase in a little while. He’s doing so great! He wakes me up during the night when he has to go to the bathroom. Its usually once between 5am and 630am.. Even though we are all usually up at 730am. I don’t mind that he does it though because at least he’s not going in the house, or worse: on my bed! Dogs are known however not to pee/poop where they sleep so that’s a plus because he sleeps with us in bed.. Snuggled right up beside me. Always having to have a paw touching me or his back against my back. It’s a really cute situation. People always say not to let your dog sleep in your bed because they will take up the whole bed or you’ll have a hard time getting him out but my dog won’t be getting much bigger, and hes a total sweetheart who never leaves my side. I’d rather him snuggle with us then be by himself whining or chewing things out of spite. Ya know?

He loves his walks, and he does so well on his leash. He never runs away, and hes a little intimidated by other dogs still.. which I don’t blame him for, hes pretty much smaller than any dog we’ve come in contact with so far. He will bark at them, and run under my legs to hide. It’s adorable. Hes quite mouthy when it comes to other dogs coming near us though. He’s very protective! Yesterday I took the kids around the corner to hang out with their little friend and I decided because I had both girls and the baby with the stroller to take I’d leave Chase at home for the 1st time. I put up the baby gate in the kitchen, put him in there with a puppy pad, his water/food and his bed with his chew toys and a rawhide. We came home within the hour and he had jumped over the gate and greeted us when we came in. He hadn’t chewed a thing, or messed anywhere. I was so very proud of him! He’s such a great dog, and a real huge part of our family now! I’m so, so, so glad we got him!

And since I’m being so random today.. I forgot to blog about when I had strep throat for the 2nd time not too long ago my hubby made me this beautiful, delicious steak dinner. He made me take a photo of and he so proudly said “You can blog about it!” but of course, I forgot. So honey, this is for you…. He is an amazing cook and it was delicious. I was hardly able to swallow, but let me tell you…. I ate it, and I loved it!

I was watching tv the other day when the Evian commercial came on with these adorable little roller babies.. I thought I’d post it because it was just so gosh darn cute!

Not much really to blog about lately. We had an amazing March break weather wise. While Jordan was off school for 10 days it was nothing but bright skies and sweater weather! Really, really nice. He goes back to school tomorrow.. which hes really looking forward to!

Ava has her next eye doctor appointment Tuesday afternoon. We see if she gets her patch time taken down any or not. I’m hoping so, she hates it and takes it off within an hour of wearing it. Keeping it on her for 4 hours = good luck.

I bought paint on Friday for the living room, kitchen and downstairs bathroom. Yesterday I painted the downstairs bathroom. It’s “Shaded Moss” it’s a beautiful color, I love it.. I will have to post photos once I get everything done!

I want to do a picture post sometime this week. I haven’t done one in a long time, usually it was Photo Friday but I think I am going to just do them randomly whenever I want…

Right now I’m about to get things together for dinner. I’m making Chicken Bake! YUM. I also want to start painting the kitchen after dinner tonight. I got “Light Chocolate” for the kitchen and a color called “Sweetwood” for the living room. It’s going to look great in here once I get the painting done. It’s in need of a facelift in here big time.. the walls haven’t been painted since we moved in 3 yrs ago (just the bedrooms we did!) I can’t wait to get it done.

I promise to start blogging more, and commenting more on everyones sites. I get so busy with the kids during the day that at night I’m too lazy to even get on the computer.. 9 MONTHS OLD!
Jayden is 9 months old today! That really flew by quickly. I can’t believe how much he has grown, even just since turning 8 months. It’s incredible how their little personalities change and develop.. It’s amazing to watch. Not only is my baby boy 9 months old but he’s been sitting up on his own with zero help now for a month, he claps his hands, he says Dada, Dad, Ma, Mama, and I swear he says “Hiiiii” after waking up and we go into the room! SO SO CUTE. He’s been rather lazy when it comes to crawling. He doesn’t do it yet. He rolls all over the place. He wants to go to the entertainment stand to mess up the DVD’s on Mommy? he rolls. He wants to follow his brother and sisters? He rolls… It’s too funny. If hes laying on his tummy and he wants to turn around to see someone he will use his hands to scoot himself around. He really doesn’t need to crawl hes got the rolling and the scooting all figured out! He’s also eating pretty much all baby foods including the 12 month ones with chunks of spaghetti, noodles and all that good stuff. Once he finishes off the baby foods we have we will be able to just feed him what we eat at meals and snacks! He’s doing amazing. His 9 month check up and needles is this coming Tuesday. I can’t wait to see what he weighs and how long he is now! My baby is getting so big!

CELL PHONES
If you follow me on Twitter you probably know that earlier in the week Jayden was playing with my Blackberry. Well he had it in his hands for maybe 5 minutes and it turns out he drooled so much on it that it got water damage. I’m talking turning the water damage indicator sticker inside behind the battery bright red.. Not even light pink, or pink… Bright red! It was white before he got his hands on it. It wouldn’t work so I of course turned the blow dryer on it for at least 2 minutes and then quickly turned it off because I knew I’d probably do it more harm than good (yep, I’m smart!) and instead I put it in a zip-lock baggy full of minute rice. I let it sit for over 24 hours and it was still wonky so I left it for another 24. After 48 hours it worked perfectly, not a problem. I’m not happy though, so I decided instead of waiting until it craps out on me again or heaven for bid one of the kids touches it and does something to it I’m just going to get a new phone! I’m getting the LG Eve. That beautiful piece of electronic hardware you see at the beginning of this post. I CANNOT WAIT!

I did a lot of research and at first I was going to go with the LG Xenon but after reading tons of reviews I decided against it. According to just about every review I read yhe screen sucks and get lots of bubbles, and its plastic! It’s not a smartphone and has no apps! The Eve on the other hand has an awesome screen which is touch, it has a slide out QWERTY keyboard, a 5.0mp camera, Apps and much much more. They call it “The Poor Mans iPhone” I was going to wait and buy it out right but its $399.99 and having 4 kids when would I really have that in the budget to go spend on myself? I wouldn’t. So my hubby suggested I wait until my old Blackberry Pearl, that he was using but broke and is now using a crap phone himself was up for a hardware upgrade which would be this coming May and upgrade to the Eve. Well, because I’m so impatient I decided to call the phone company yesterday and see when I’m able to have the upgrade could I upgrade to another smartphone. Turns out I could, and she said it was allowing her to upgrade me RIGHT NOW! Of course, I did it! The only thing is I had to change from a blackberry DATA plan to just a normal smartphone data plan so I have to swap SIM cards with my hubby… so changing the number AGAIN. So annoying. But he gets my Curve, and I get my Eve… so it works out! I also only have to pay $69.99 and I get a $50 mail in rebate too! So, in 3-5 business days it shall arrive at my door! :)

ONLINE JOB SCAM UPDATE
A couple posts below this one is about an online job scam my hubby came across and I posted about it in hopes it would help others and hopefully help them not lose $10 like my hubby did. Well, my post worked! So far 2 people have left comments stating they came across that very ad and after the woman asked them to send $10 for a training package they googled and found my website and my blog about it! Which is exactly what I was aiming for! I’m so excited that I was able to help and keep people aware. Also, if you could report your experience to the proper authorities these people can be stopped!

Yesterday Jordan got an invitation to a Birthday Party for March 27th! It got me thinking it’s almost that time again when everyone in my family starts having their Birthdays! First up is JAYDEN! He will be ONE on June 6th! Oh my goodness.. that flew by so quickly! Then comes my hubby on June 23rd, Then me July 29th, Then Ava August 12th, Jordan September 7th and Kyla October 2nd! Starting in June we have Birthdays every month until Kyla’s birthday on Oct 2nd! So I started looking at invitations. I’m not exactly sure what we are doing for anyone’s Birthday. Usually for the first 4 we just do family Birthday’s so Jayden’s will probably just be a small little at home thing, as well as Ava. Kyla will be in school when her Birthday rolls around though.. another thing I can’t believe! School so soon, wasn’t she just born? JEEZE. Jordan’s had some good Birthdays. His 4th we went to Playtrium with 2 of his friends. His 5th we did Chuck E Cheese and his 6th he had a sleepover with his best friend. This year he will be 7… so I want to plan something great! We still have some time though so we’ll figure it out!

Last night I wasn’t feeling very well. I had horrible lower back cramps, and my side started to hurt.. Exactly how it did during my last few gallbladder attacks so I discussed it with my hubby and because my doctor said to take my pills at the sign of an attack I had to take my prescription for my percocets.

Boy, am I regretting it now! Last night it took away all the pain, but this morning and all day today I’ve felt awful. My head has been pounding, I’m very dizzy when I stand up and I keep having horrible hot flashes. I really am not sure if its from the prescription because I get very ill off anything strong or if I’m still carrying a little bit of the 24-hour flu I had yesterday also.. Regardless, I feel awful and I hope I don’t have to take the prescription again or at least not for a while..

Well, I guess I should end this now.. My poor head is really hurting! Hope everyone has a great Friday night! :D

So Ava’s doctor’s appointment went well. However, she does still need the patch for 4 hours a day until March 23rd. She is still favoring her one eye over the other… so hopefully, the patching will help with that. Other than that her eyes are perfectly straight and theres no other concerns. My biggest fear was them wanting to do more surgery, and that isn’t even an issue. She looks great, her eyes are perfect its just to get her to stop favoring her one eye over the other. So we patch!

I have been searching non stop for a new theme. I’m so bored with this one. I like plain, but this is a little too plain for me. I finally found something I liked, began tweaking it and I don’t like it anymore. So I think I’m at the point where I might as well get someone to create a theme for me and pay them. I don’t have the time to keep searching, and I really don’t have the time to sit and customize. If all my kids napped at the same time during the day I could whip up something in a few days, but they don’t anymore.. So I just really don’t have the time. So now the hunt is on to find someone who can help! I’m really in need of a change.

It was a sad day for Discovery Channel fans Wednesday; fan’s of “The Deadliest Catch” the Captain of the crab boat “Cornelia Marie” passed away. I’m a HUGE fan of this show, I actually have a sad, and very vocal crush on one of his son’s on the show - which everytime we watch I have to mention at like 20x to annoy my hubby! :D It’s so sad, I really liked Captain Phil and hope he has a found peace and rest wherever he may be. My deepest condolences go out to his family, especially his two sons Josh and Jake.

Speaking of the Deadliest Catch - which is based in Alaska - take a look at Anchorage real estate It’s mighty cold up there but oh so beautiful… I wouldn’t move there, I’d go somewhere really warm and tropical but its beautiful and worth a look!

I haven’t stopped all day, so now I am taking a break to write this little blog. I changed the girls room around today and it looks adorable! I also went through all their clothes and got everything organized… AGAIN!!! Hopefully they will keep it the way it is now - but we all know 2 year olds, and 3 year olds don’t usually keep things prim and proper… That is what Mommy’s are for!! To keep all well :)

Ava goes back for her 2nd post op appointment at the hospital on Tuesday afternoon. We’ll find out if/how long she will need to patch if she needs to. She hasn’t had to yet because they wanted her eyes to heal as much as possible before patching. So we’ll see. I really don’t want her to be patched anymore but it’s up to them.

Looking for employment? So many people I know are looking for work and it’s so hard to find something good if anything at all. I don’t know what its like in all places but my current City litterally has nothing… I’m lucky I am a stay at home Mommy! :)

Anyways, hope everyone had a good weekend. Tomorrow mark’s my hubby and my 3rd Wedding anniversary… Can’t believe it’s been 3 years already.. then again, Can’t believe Jayden turned 8 months old yesterday even that 8 months FLEW by.

Is it just me or does anyone else notice that television really sucks lately. Theres like 3 - 4 days a week with anything good on and thats it, Usually only one good show a night except Tuesday nights. It always seems the good shows are on the same days too. In a week I watch, when they aren’t reruns;

What the heck is wrong with that?? I have recently found a show called “Flipping Out” and oh my gosh - I think it’s hilarious. I don’t know what nights its on we DVR the whole series and we just watch it whenever we see it in our DVR… its a great show. I used to watch a lot of home makeover shows but none of them really appeal to me anymore. Not to mention when I’d watch them I’d always want to do different things to my house. Theres really not much else we can do to our house however like I’ve mentioned before I want to get laminate flooring for our living room, and new tile flooring for our kitchen/entry/hall… but yeah!

I find television so boring lately. We rent a lot of “On Demand” movies which are usually $5.99 per movie… I like that there is television stations dedicated to the kids - even though my kids don’t watch too much television… But what is there for adults? I’m really not into Lost, or Heroes. I used to be really into Grey’s Anatomy but lately I’ve just been “meh” about it.

What do you all watch? I’m hoping the more Jordan and I go to the library on Saturday’s I’ll get more into books and want to read more because there really isn’t anything on tv… Right now I’m reading “sTORI Telling” by Tori Spelling that I signed out from the library. I don’t know why, but I’m a fan of hers and I think her books are great… which reminds me I need to change my “currently reading” I shall, I shall….

Thanks everyone.. on here and twitter. I had a rough 2 days when I found out but I’m alright now. Obviously death is a sad thing, but finding out how I did wasn’t exactly a way I’d want anyone to find out about a dear friend passing away…

With that said…

I’m finally done all my Christmas shopping! I went out yesterday morning after having a Parent/Teacher interview with Jordan’s teacher and finished. 1st’ly - Jordan is doing amazing in school, which I am so proud of him for doing so well! 2nd’ly YESSSS! All done my Christmas shopping. I went a little over board this year but I had 4 kids and 1 husband to buy for, so I don’t think I could spend a tiny bit and be done so although I spent above what I wanted to.. it’s done! :)

I think we are going to take the kids to have their photo done with Santa on Monday. I’m pretty sure that is Peter’s only day off this week so we’ll have to do it then.. otherwise, it will be too late considering the next week is Christmas. Where in the heck did 2009 go?? It seemed to have gone by really quickly.

Well I need to bath Jayden.. Daddy bathed the girls this morning while I ran out to get some groceries… and Jordan will just have a shower before bed… so I’m off to get them situated. My girls fell asleep already and its 645p.. they didn’t have their usual nap today because I wanted to see how well they sleep at night without one, so we’ll see. I’m not too pleased they are asleep already but I wouldn’t be surprised if they slept straight through.. After the kids all are asleep I need to do a quick tidy up and get ready for bed myself. My Aunt from Toronto is coming over for a visit tomorrow and I havent seen her or my Uncle (my moms brother) since Kyla was a few days old, So that will be nice!

We’ve been counting down with the kids… 2 more sleeps until we wake up at 6am to get ready to go to Toronto! The kids can’t wait to see their cousins and to go shopping on the Sunday… They are ecstatic about going on a Subway. None of us (with the exception of my husband who used to live in TO) have ever been on a Subway before! I’m a little nervous, but the kids can’t wait so we’ll see how it goes. I can’t wait to go shopping there and getting my Christmas shopping started! We aren’t going for a super long time we are leaving at about 7am-730am on Saturday morning and will be heading back around 5pm on Sunday night. With 4 kids the ages we have - you don’t need a super long trip this will be plenty! We’ll have a nice visit Saturday, nice fun shopping Sunday then I’m sure everyone will be more than ready to come home!

I want to start Chistmas shopping on eBay soon too. Theres some video games and other misc things I’ve found on there that I’d like to get for some people for Christmas. It’s much cheaper buying brand new on eBay from the US than buying brand new in the stores here I’m finding. So I’m going to start doing that after our trip. I was searching and I found classroom desks. So if theirs anyone in the market for some desks check it out! I have a few more minutes before the kids should be up from their naps so I’m going to read/comment at my faves… If I don’t post again before I go I’ll have lots of photos to add to my flickr when I get back and I’ll post some on here also. Hopefully I can squeeze another post in before I leave though… Hopefully..
