My hubby took the kids back-to-school shoe shopping today. They got some really cute shoes, both Ky and Jord. Ava got new shoes also even though she isn’t going to school yet… but of course had to get her some. Jay got some really cute nike’s too. I was looking at merrell shoes.. but I won’t be buying any new shoes anytime soon so… we’ll see when I actually go get some. It’s almost that time again - back to school… next week! :D

The first Monday after we moved here we went downtown shopping. I ended up buying myself a new laptop since I broke the screen on my netbook a few months back. I wanted to get a Sony VAIO but ended up going with an MSi…. It’s not a bad laptop, its not what I wanted but it will do… Sony VAIO is pretty much the same as the one I got but I wanted a vaio for the color option… I wanted a pink laptop :) Not really a good reason to buy something so expensive but - hey thats just me :D

I’ve never sold anything online. I’m a huge online shopper though. But recently I’ve come across a lot of stuff that I can no longer use, or have the need for and instead of throwing it out I figured I’d look into selling them online. I found a ton of children’s books that Jordan has out grown - like spiderman, batman, cars.. etc stuff the girls will never have very much of an interest in and by the time Jayden is that age its likely the books will be tattered and torn… so I’m going to sell books that aren’t needed here anymore. Have you ever sold anything online??? what sites other than eBay have you used? opinions…?

Plus Sized Lingerie?

Plus size? Super skinny? Average? Everyone likes to look good, and feel comfortable. I’m not a big fan of lingerie… never have been but if you are theres lots of sites, lots of deals… I came across plus size lingerie that was super cute! Why not? Spice it up a little bit… could be fun right? Ya never know. Like I said everyone likes to look good.. might as well have a little fun with it! :D

Chistmas lights!

Its still a little bit away but Jordan asked me the day after we moved in if we’d be putting Christmas lights on our balcony this year since we now live in an apartment. I think that would be kind of neat especially being on the top floor pent house… we have a very long balcony, and we have a smaller one off the master bedroom which I think would look so pretty with white led christmas lights! For sure eye catching…. hmmmm!

Camcorder Reviews

A Camcorder is something I’d eventually like to buy. Yes, having a digital camera is great but I want something even better to record video. I was having a look at some camcorder reviews and I am even more excited now to purchase a video camcorder. I also want to look into buying memory cards, and other software to boost my videos! How much fun!

Social Security Benefits

I have no idea about any of this kind of stuff being from Canada but I do have a lot of friends in the US.

So if you need social security benefits that would be a place to go to check out. It seems easy, and hassle free. I couldn’t imagine having to deal with medical, ssb and all that other stuff that has to be dealt with in the US. But sites like that make it a little easier I’d imagine. So, feel free to check it out.

Well we are all moved into our new home! It’s wonderful. We have amazing views and its in a great neighborhood. I am very pleased with where we are!!! I am very, very impressed.

NC Health Insurance

I’m so glad I am Canadian! Why you ask? HEALTH CARE!!!! With 1 little card we get pretty much everything covered. With the acception of prescriptions! Hospital visits, hospital stays, surgeries…we get for free! A lot of American’s I know have to pay a ton for health care! Check out NC health insurance if you live in NC!!! Could be some help to you.

I think the US really needs to be a little more like Canada with health care… everyone needs it, no one should be denied.

Online Education

What a great idea Online Education is.. Too bad it wasn’t around years ago! I think its for sure something people who want to continue with school but have children at home, or have no way to get around… Who wouldn’t want to do schooling from the comfort of their own home? Talk about awesome! Sitting in your jammies, drinking your coffee, listening to your favorite shows in the background!! Anyone do any schooling online? If I had the time I’d look into it for myself, maybe in a few years! :D
