I took these photos yesterday of Jordan and my belly. I have pictures of him like this with my belly when I was pregnant with Kyla. He was 2… It was beyond adorable. I need pics like this of the girls and my belly! (they wont be still long enough!) In these photos I am 19w, 3d… I’m getting quite big now.. I love it, I’m out of that “is she fat or is she pregnant?” phase. Although, people keep telling me that while my belly is growing nicely, I seem to be loosing weight everywhere else. I’m not going to complain, I love it! I hadn’t lost all my weight from Kyla/Ava seeing as how a month after I gave birth to Kyla I got pregnant for Ava so it was difficult, and after Ava was born to be honest I really didn’t care. I was a size 6 right before getting pregnant this time.. I did it at my own pace I didn’t care what anyone else thought or said I was comfortable being a size 6 after having 3 children. I’ll get back to pre-pregnancy I’m sure, but its not a huge priority for me. I’m happily married, I’m comfortable in my own skin.. I don’t have to be stick thin again… What is “plus size” now a days??? Poor Jessica Simpson is being MOCKED by everyone over her weight, and to me she looks great..I’m so tired of weight being huge news.. It’s really sad.

Dinner Thursday night was great. We went to Lonestar to eat… We first went to a place called “Amadaus” but we had to leave.. It was all weird food and there was NO WAY I’d be eating there! So, we went to Lonestar I got what I was craving - Southern Friend Chicken Fingers and my hubby got a Steak sandwich.. which looked soo good.. We then TRIED to share “Deep Fried Ice Cream” OMG…..WTF IS THAT STUFF??? Seriously, ew. I’d never tried it and can honestly say - NEVER AGAIN!!!! After that we went to the Arena and waited an hour and about 20 minutes (they started 20 minutes late) for the show to begin.. We were on the floor 2nd row.. It was AWESOME! The guys although I am 110% against everything they stand for were HILARIOUS. I laughed so hard I cried, and I laughed way more than my hubby who is actually a fan of the show. I really enjoyed myself, and I’m glad I went. It was over and we were home by 11pm… All kids were in bed, except Ava.. She woke up so Grammy brought her downstairs to wait for Mommy and Daddy. We cuddled with her for a little bit then went to bed… It was a really great night!

It’s been snowing non-stop since Monday.. I don’t really mind it since I usually don’t have to go out in it, and even if I do I’m never out for long.. It’s pretty to look at and fun to play out in the backyard in with the kiddos! But theres a lot of it, and theres been a lot of accidents. I don’t blame the snow, all Canadians know what winters here are like.. I’m glad I’m not a driver, the roads are scary enough without all this white stuff… :/

Kyla is doing great with the potty, shes taking her time, doing it at her own pace and when she wants to. That’s one thing - I will not push my kids or force anything on them - we haven’t, shes done all this on her own and thats the way it should be.

The girls went down for their nap around 11-1130′ish… They’ll be up around 1 for lunch. Jordan got a knock on the door about 11ish… he is now over at his friends house 2 doors down playing with their superheros - Today is one of his non-school days. He only goes Tues & Thurs and every other Friday. So I’ve been lurking around Twitter and cleaning up a bit. I pretty much tore the house apart yesterday and cleaned it all.. I even re-arranged the girls bedroom yesterday evening because my hubby was home he only had to work a half day… So I got a lot more done than usual. Today I’m going to finish up the laundry and just lounge around with the kiddos. Jordan wanted to bake cupcakes later on so when the girls wake up and Jordan gets home I think we might do that! Of course I do most of the work the kids just like to decorate the cupcakes at the end :)

Tomorrow my hubby works another half day and we’re having Grandma over to babysit so we can go out for dinner, then to a show. We’re going to be celebrating our Wedding Anniversary and Valentines day tomorrow at dinner since we never get to get out alone, and wont have a chance to again for a while.. Then we’re going to see The Trailer Park Boys on stage. I am not a fan of the show.. But I bought my hubby tickets for Christmas. It’s something different to do, and it gets us out of the house for a couple hours so it should be an ok time (he’ll love it, I’m sure I’ll be bored to tears!). The kids are excited to spend some time with Grammy since any time they see her its usually for 5 minutes and thats it (but I wont get into that right now!) I’m looking forward to spending time with my hubby and just having a good time.

This isn’t the original post I had in mind. I had a nice long rant typed out and saved, but I just don’t have the energy to post it. But anyways, hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday… I’m off to get all the cupcake things and put them on the counter…. and wait for my girlies to wake up and Jordan to get home! MMMMMM CUPCAKES! :D

On Christmas Kyla wanted the potty so we brought it into the living room and she took her diaper off and peed, twice!!! From that point on she would not pee or anything without a diaper… We’d put big girl undies on her and she’d take them off and make us put a diaper on her…Which was fine, we aren’t in a big hurry.. She is letting us know shes interested so thats great!

Well yesterday before I went out she brought the potty into the living room. So I put a towel under it (we have the one shown above) and so I told my hubby when he came home to keep a diaper off her and encourage her to use the potty. I get home last night and they inform me “Kyla pooped in the potty” Ok I was BEYOND proud, but beyond sad that I missed it. I got excited for her, praised her and kissed her bunches… This morning when she wakes up she only wanted to wear pants. No diaper. So I went upstairs and got her a pair of her big girl undies and she’s been wearing them all morning…and peed in the potty twice! :D So far no accidents! She just takes her undies down, sits and pees! I’m sooo excited for her :D

In other news.. I’m going to my family doctor at 830am on Thursday to see if the YI stuff I’ve been taking has been helping or not, Its still burning and itching so we’ll see…..If its not feeling better by then, and not seem to be working hopefully I can get something else… Something that will WORK! Sometimes being a girl isn’t so fun :/

So I had a little adventure today… I have been suffering with a Yeast Infection now since Thursday. I’ve gotten them during every pregnancy, they are very common and very normal however I have never had one this horrible before. I mean it burns, it stings, its aches, it kills… So After 2 days of Monistat 7 cream and inserts I went to the hospital Urgent Care this morning about 1030am….to make sure it was just a YI and not something else also, you can’t be too safe with your health during pregnancy.

I got there and there was no one in the waiting room.. plus for me! I waited about 5 minutes and was called back. I waited back there for a good 30-45 minutes for anyone to even come. In walks the nicest doctor ever! I explained what was up, and I explained that I was only there because I read online that there are many things it could be other than a yeast infection and I wanted to be sure. First thing we did was an Ultrasound!!!!!!! I told him I hadn’t had breakfast or anything to drink yet and was wondering if we could take a look at baby… He said “I was hoping you’d say that I love doing ultrasounds” I only asked because I saw the machine right in the hall by my room door and I really didn’t think he’d do it…Any other time I went for any of my other kids for anything at the hospital they’d never let me do it because there was never any concerns for baby.. well he did it anyway!. It was only 2 minutes long but long enough to see the heartbeat, baby boy moving about and all was well :) He was actually waiting to do one because he had an intern he wanted to watch one, so I let them use me :)

So, he had the intern leave the room and a nurse come into the room to do the exam. He said I have a Yeast Infection indeed, and the one side is VERY raw and irritated from the itching and the cream. Anyways to make a long story short because I’m pregnant they can’t perscribe the “Diflucan” pill that is for yeast infections because I am pregnant and it hasn’t been prooven safe for pregnancy yet. So I have to take the Monistat 7 for the full 7 days and hopefully it will clear up soon… if not back to the doctors I go.

So, Although I got nothing much out of the trip except to confirm that it is yeast infection and seeing my baby boy for a few moments on the screen I’m glad I went. You can never be too sure, and you never know what infections you can get during pregnancy. Sorry its a bit TMI but that was my morning!! The rest of the day was spent cleaning and just hanging out with my kiddos and hubby until he had to go to work…. Hubby bathed the girls before he left as I’m having a hard time bending/moving lately so that was very very nice of him! We just ate some dinner and now its time for all 3 kids and me to cuddle on the couch with a movie. The girls didn’t nap today and are both VERY VERY tired and cranky so I wouldn’t be surprised if they both fall asleep during the movie! Finding Nemo it is :)

I haven’t blogged in a few days because I really haven’t had much to say, I still don’t but I figured I’d jump on and write at least something!

I was bored the other day so I took a few pictures of the kiddos. This is one that I just loved loved loved…So I wanted to share it. I told Kyla to “Put your arm around Avs” and thats what she did… She loves her little sister. My kids are all very close, and I’m very excited to complete this family.. June seems so so far away! If this cold weather would go away I don’t think it would be so bad. We’d get to go outside, go for walks, go to the park… When this gross winter weather is here it doesn’t leave much for us to do.. It’s too cold to have the girls outside for any length of time - and even Jordan, gets cold very very quickly. C’mon spring!

Yesterday I had to attempt to go get some blood work done for the pregnancy as it has to be done by Monday.. The place used to open at 830am, so I got there just at 830am thinking I’m so smart to get there right as it opens — yeah, not. It opens now at 7am! So not only was the place packed, but there was no place to sit or stand… So I told them I’d be back Monday morning at 7am… Hubby had to be at work by 11am that day and the wait they told me? Three Hours. Wasn’t happening so instead I left and went to a store down the street.

I bought Kyla 3 pairs of two piece jammies that are the “tight/snug fit” I think they always look so cute on her, I got her 3 outfits, Jordan got 2 shirts and I bought myself a cute hoodie. Ava got a shirt that said “Daddys girl” because she really doesn’t need anything.. Kyla’s growing out of all her clothes, so they go right to Ava who now fits into all of them… Sooo great!

Yesterday afternoon while the girls napped, Jordan and I went through a box of newborn baby sleepers I had tucked away in the basement. It was one of MANY, but it was the only one I could find at that time… I got a lot of white, yellow, blue and green sleepers so I took them out and am going to wash them and put them in a new box for baby boy. I can’t wait to go out and start buying more clothes for him. I haven’t bought baby boy clothes in years. I wanted to go through stuff I already had though and pick out things that would go for a boy, and sort all my girl stuff out to get ready to donate. I don’t mind using hand-me-downs for the baby, you can NEVER have enough sleepers on hand for newborns. I’ve learned that… and they don’t always have to be brand new and stylish when you are at home. After all they will only get spit up and pooped on!

Well, I am off to do LOADS upon LOADS of laundry today and then put it ALL away. So much fun. Hope everyone has a good Saturday! :)

Baby, Baby, Baby… Well we’ve decided on the baby’s name. It’s now set in stone! I posted it on Twitter because I don’t know if any family/friends read this - and we’d like to keep it a secret from RL family and friends until the birth. It’s funny though, I was all upset over names yesterday and my hubby REALLY surprised me. But thats all I’ll say, if you want to know the name its on Twitter!

Food, Food, Food… Yesterday after we had my ultrasound we went to get groceries. NEVER get groceries if you are hungry and pregnant. BIG NO NO. I got so much stuff, I don’t even know why I put half of it in the cart. We didn’t need much but ended up with one cart full and another half FULL. Of course, then what do I do at 830pm last night? Order chinese food for the hubby and I to each while watching Step Brothers. LOL… We had lasagna around 5pm with the kids for dinner, but it didnt fill me up and I didnt want to eat anymore… I was having a craving for Sweet and Sour Chicken balls, and Egg Rolls. Not even 15 minutes after we called in our order it was here; it was so yummy!

Obama, Obama, Obama… I’m SO thrilled for America. I’ve been a supporter of Barack Obama from the beginning, and hearing the speech on the drive home yesterday from getting groceries - I teared up a few times, and when I got home I put on CNN… What a great, historic day yesterday was. I see great changes ahead for the USA… Barack and Michelle’s 1st dance at the balls last night - to Beyonce singing “At Last” made me cry also. I’m blaming it all on pregnancy hormones, because being Canadian I feel like a tool - but really, everyone around the world who supports and agrees with Obama probably felt the same way! Let’s hope he does bring some Changes, and great Changes!

Kids, Kids, Kids… Well my girls are napping. Ava is fast asleep, but Kyla is up there in her room playing around. I can hear her thumping and talking to herself and her baby in bed. Shes been giving us a hard time with napping lately, I might have to cut her nap out soon - the only problem with that though is she is usually ready for bed between 530pm-6pm when she doesn’t nap.. so I dunno we’ll have to see. She was up at 7am this morning with my hubby so she should be napping, shes just full of beans today though it seems so maybe I’ll go get her and just let her come lay on the couch and cuddle with me while I read a book! :)

BOY!!!!!!!

Sorry the pic is weird quality - I had to take a picture of the actual picture so its not so great! ANYWAY - Yep, I got my wish.. It’s a boy!!! I’m beyond excited I can’t even begin to explain. 2 Boys and 2 Girls is perfect, and I now feel so complete!! We’re still on the fence with names. We can’t really agree right now, but I’ll be working on it! :) Because the ultrasound was to check all anatomy my hubby and the girls waited in the waiting room for half an hour (Jordan was at school) and the lady said she’d go get them once we finished taking the 60+ photos she had to take… Nearing the end I asked a question I knew the answer to but I wanted to get her to check the sex before my hubby came into the room. So I asked “Do you take a picture of the bum?” LOL she replied “For gender you mean?” I said yeah.. She so nicely said “Well only if you want to find out, we dont usually do it but if you want to find out the sex I sure can” so she did and its a boy.. VERY much a boy! :) So excited… :) :) :)

My girls are HUGE fan’s of Barney. They never want to watch anything else but Barney. The odd time they will want to watch Dora (mostly Ava) but Kyla is all about Barney. Well the other day as I was in the kitchen and Barney ended before I could get into the living room to put something else on The Wiggles came on. I cannot stand the Wiggles. But, apparently my girls really enjoyed it because Kyla keeps asking to watch “The Doggy” which would be Wags The Dog, and when I put it on Ava runs up to the tv and starts dancing. It’s so very cute to watch. The picture above is the girls watching Wags the Dog and Wiggles on the computer last night while I was getting dinner on the table..They were laughing pointing at the computer and dancing… Very very cute. I’m glad they don’t want to watch tv too much..I just wish they’d watch something other than Barney, Dora and The Wiggles.

I’m very anxiously awaiting tomorrow morning. I cannot wait to see my little baby bean on the screen. Of course I’m hoping the baby gives us a little glance at his/her private parts but I’m just happy to be able to see the baby again wiggling around on the screen. I’ll be 18 weeks tomorrow, and I’m really starting to feel the baby moving/kicking. Sometimes the kicks are very distinct but other times I just feel moving around and little jolts. I love it, It’s the best part of pregnancy other than the ultrasounds. I will of course post a picture and any news tomorrow when I get home from my appointment!

I really have nothing to blog about today, hence the random post! But, I found a site with random memes.. When I’m bored I find these things entertaining…So heres a meme..

Jordan and I had a Mommy and Jordan day today. We went to get Jordan’s hair cut, do some shopping and I promised him lunch. So, we accomplished it all and had a really great time. Jordan’s hair was so long and shaggy I loved it but he said it kept getting into his eyes, and it was itching him so we got it cut. He still looks beyond adorable. He asked if he could get a toy today because the other day when hubby and I took the girls out they both got a little something (Kyla got a dolly and Ava got a little stuffed dog that barks) so he chose Hot Wheels cars, and wouldn’t you know it we passed by a bin that had “3 for $2.00″ on it so Jordan got 6 cars. Which he’s been playing with ever since we got home, very quietly in his room! He also got to pick out 2 boxes of Valentine’s for his Classmates. He got Iron Man “3D Valentines Motion Cards” for the boys and Hannah Montana “3D Valentines Motion Cards” for the girls! I forgot how soon Valentine’s is approaching…

My doctors office called yesterday. I have an ultrasound scheduled Tuesday at 945am… I’m VERY excited. If the baby cooperates we’ll be able to find out the sex.. Which is what I’ve been dying for since I found out I was expecting again! Finding out will make life so much easier. I’ll be able to start buying sleepers and clothes. We’ll be able to pick out a name and hopefully agree on it. It’s very exciting finding out the sex. I’m very anxious!

I’m eating a Double Chocolate muffin from McDonald’s… Not very good, Baby does not approve. I should go lay down for a few minutes. The girls are asleep, Jordan’s playing quietly in his room, Hubby is napping on the couch and like usual I’m not getting my rest I’ve been cleaning up, browsing online and now blogging… so I think I’ll grab the remote and relax infront of a movie until the kiddos appear!

Here Ava is on Boxing Day morning.. She emptied the bins from Christmas and had all the toys, clothes, books etc all over the floor. The whole living room looked like that, and when I said “HEY AVA…WHAT CHA DOING?” this is the look I got!
