Sigh.

As you can see I got bored with the colors of the layout so I changed them. I like the layout, so I am not changing that for a while.. Besides I can’t find a single theme I like enough to take the time to tweak and fiddle with..But anyways, I forgot to mention when I first got this laptop I checked my site out in IE and it looked terrible.. This site was made in Firefox and looks best in Firefox.. So I apoligize if you are using IE and it looks terrible! :x

I made muffins today.. I was craving them horribly bad. We had batter in the freezer we bought from a fundraiser at Jordan’s school so I figured I’d make some up before the batter goes bad. They taste delicious. I’m sure they won’t last too long in this house though.. Everyone loves when I make sweets. I love eating these Chocolate Chip muffins with butter on them so so so good!!!

I didn’t sleep a bit last night. I had horrible heartburn and acid reflux. So I got up and messed around with this site. Then at about 1am-130am I went back upstairs to bed - tossed and turned all night long. Finally, at 730am I got out of bed and had a sandwich I was starving at this time and FINALLY my heartburn and acid reflux was gone. So, I again attempted to go back to sleep around 830am. My hubby got up with the kids so I could TRY to sleep… From around 830am-1130am I slept a bit, but it seemed everytime I fell asleep someone was waking me up… So, needless to say I’m a bit tired today. Hopefully I will get some good rest tonight. I’m not nearly as tired as I thought I would be - yet - so we’ll see.

Well, I’m off to put away some more laundry. Hubby is leaving for work soon so I gotta get what I need to get done before he goes otherwise the clothes that are folded and in piles on my bed waiting to be put away - will end up all over the floor!!! Kids loooove clean laundry!

Photo Friday - #1

So I have decided to make my blog a tad more exciting I am going to do “Photo Fridays”!! Every Friday I’ll post random photos for you all to enjoy. The photos will be random, but photos I’ve taken throughout the week. I’m trying to think of more fun things to do on here besides just my blog entries so this is the first thing I’ve thought up!!! How exciting… So to start it off here is my first PHOTO FRIDAY entry!!!!

This weeks images are - 1: My cat Daisy watching the rain, 2: A shot that I found creepy, 3: Tonights weather, 4: My kids from earlier this week!, 5: A gorgeous painting on my fridge done by Jordan!

Anyways I just thought it would be neat to try something new. A lot of people ask me constantly in e-mails how to check out my flickr if they dont have one and theres no way because I have it set to private only friends can view my photos on there. So at least this way those without flickr can have a peek at some of my photos. :) Anyways, I’m off because my hubby is in the market for a new tuxedo so I need to have a boo.

TGIF!

I’m feeling like myself again today. I seemed to have gotten the bug a lot longer than anyone else in the family. But that is ok, thats what us Mommy’s do.. We take care of everyone when they are sick, and when it’s our turn to get sick we get it worse than anyone!!! It’s the price we pay :)

So like I mentioned before I got my laptop last week I’m really loving it. Our desktop is a mess. Not only is it full of over 11,000 photos but it’s just slow and probably full of viruses too. We really need to get more USB flash drives so we can start getting the photos off. I was checking out promotional products and really think we need to invest in a few more usb flash drives. The 2 we have wont fit half the photos, so I think we’ll have to check into it ASAP. The kids like playing games on the desktop, and my hubby uses it also… I’d like to have it working properly so I need to get all the photos off it so I can restore and try to get it working properly!!!!

Well, TGIF… This week flew by. I can’t wait for the weekends because Peter is off until 4pm on Saturday and Sunday so not only do I get to sleep in, but I usually get a lot of help from him with the kids and house hold things. This weekend I’m hoping to get some more laundry done and hopefully go through all of Jordan’s clothes/toys in his room.. What doesn’t fit, and what toys he doesn’t want anymore.. Or rather, what toys he doesn’t play with anymore will go to a local Women and Children shelter I’ve been donating to. My girls are both sitting with me (one beside, and one on my lap!) and Jordan is at school.. So I’m going to go watch Wiggles with my two Princesses!

Feeling sick!

Yesterday afternoon around 2pm I all of a sudden started to feel sick. I thought it was nothing maybe that I was doing too much ( I was in the middle of vacuuming, sweeping and picking up some toys ) but I realized very quickly that wasn’t the case. After a while I couldn’t even eat dinner so I ate saltines as much as I could throughout the night. When my hubby got done work I asked him if he could go grab me a Frosty from Wendy’s. I was really hungry but too scared to eat. Luckily I was able to eat a bit of the frosty and it stayed down…. All my kids this past week had 1 day where they all complained of bellyaches.. So I knew it was only a matter of time before Mommy got it…Gotta love Kindergarten and all the flus/colds/etc that follows.

Today I woke up feeling great.. But after having some toast for breakfast my stomach started to act up again. I haven’t thrown up or anything, I just have a little tummy ache still.. So I’ve been nibbling on the rest of my frosty.. Which by the way - IS SO FREAKIN’ YUMMY!! :) The girls just went down for their nap after they ate a little bit, and watched Barney: The Farm DVD. They both slept in a little bit this morning so I let them have a little later of a nap time. Jordan is at school, hubby is at work so right now its pretty quiet… I’m going to take this time to just lay on the couch and read… I finally finished “A Million Little Pieces” again, so I’m going to start a different book. I wanted to bake, but my stomach is still bothering me a bit so I think I’ll take this time to relax and enjoy the quiet.

23 weeks!

Week 23: Dancing baby alert!

Fetal development in pregnancy week 23:At this point you’ve pretty much adjusted to the fact you’ve got a moving little gymnast inside of you, but now they’re going to kick up the party a notch because they can hear and react to sounds from the outside world. Sounds from your alarm clock, a thunder roll, or that darned car honking at you across the intersection can actually jar their little ears enough to elicit a kick or violent bout of squirming. Your baby’s tiny taste buds are still growing and their bones are continuing to ossify (harden), their tiny veins are visible through their translucent yet wrinkly skin. (Think of it this way: they’ve been swimming in the equivalent of a long hot bath for the past 23 weeks, so you can’t blame them for being a little prune-like.) Now that he’s more than 11 inches long and weighs just over a pound (about as much as a large mango), you may be able to see him squirm underneath your clothes. Blood vessels in his lungs are developing to prepare for breathing, and the sounds that your baby’s increasingly keen ears pick up are preparing his for entry into the outside world. Loud noises that become familiar now — such as your dog barking or the roar of the vacuum cleaner — probably won’t faze him when he hears them outside the womb.

How exciting I’m 23 weeks today… 17 left to go… I say 16 because I swear from the baby ALWAYS measuring 4 days ahead that he will make his debut on the 19th of June not the 23rd.. But we will see :) I’m feeling pretty good… I’m always thirsty and I am into that “nesting” phase again… Today I put load after load after load of laundry away, cleaned the kids rooms, helped my hubby change the kitchen around *he moved the fridge, and i helped move the dish washer and pantry* I didn’t do much in the moving department but I went through all the can food in the pantry and all the boxed stuff sorted it all and moved things around on shelves and organized it all. I’m very happy with all accomplished today… The girls are up from their nap now so I’m making this quick.. Hope you all have a fantastic Tuesday! :)

Belly cam photo now updated!!! I will continue to do them every week and although I post them on flickr I’ll post them on here as well incase you don’t have a flickr account.

Mini Update!

I just wanted to touch base since writing yesterday about my fall. I’m feeling totally fine, my body is fine.. My back doesn’t hurt like it did yesterday at all thank goodness. Baby is fine, he is moving and kicking like a crazy man - like usual! - I’ve had no bleeding, or cramping or anything of the sort! So I’m pretty confident that I will be fine. My doctor said that if I experience even the slightest amount of cramps I need to go be checked ASAP of course, and if I bleed at all I am to rush in also.. Which I’d do regardless. My doctor doesn’t have an ultrasound machine - which would tell us what I already know hes alive and kicking in there! - so if anything happens I’ll be going down to the ER. But I am pretty sure, nothing will happen..

It wasn’t as severe as it probably sounds.. But when pregnant you can never be too safe. Thank you to everyone for the kind e-mails, sweet twitter messages and comments I will keep everyone updated… I am really greatful for everyone’s kind words and comments :)

Rough day..

Thank you everyone for all the comments on the video below. I knew you would all think it was as adorable as I do…:) I read all the comments to Jordan and he giggled and said “it is pretty cute, mom!” lol…

So, I had a little fall today… I was going up the stairs and slipped on a toy, and fell down 4 stairs - on my belly :( it wasnt a SEVERE hit it felt more like my kids climbing all over me and accidently hitting my tummy but it still scares the heck out of you when you are pregnant and falling up/down the stairs. I haven’t had any cramping, or bleeding and I’m not in any pain… Baby boy has been kicking all day and moving since it happened… So, while I am concerned for him I’m not freaking out because if something was wrong I’d feel it or be seeing it.. but I’ll be calling my doctor in the morning to explain and see if he wants me to come in to just be sure.. but I doubt it unless I start feeling any pain, cramping or bleeding.. :/

Well I am typing this on the new laptop.. The new laptop that is driving me nuts. Not only did the hinge where it opens up start popping out of place last night when my hubby opened it up -gently- but when you type the odd time the cursor goes somewhere other than where you need to type - which I think it my own doing, as I’m trying to get used to the mouse being RIGHT UNDER the keyboard all over again… I haven’t had a laptop in about a year so I got to get used to it again… :) The hinge thing is annoying, but it still works perfectly I keep the laptop open and ontop of the tv stand so I don’t need to worry about it snapping right off but I will be sending it in to get fixed… just not yet, I’m lovin’ it right now!!!!!

Well I got all the kiddos to bed a little bit ago, and just got out of a bubble bath… I’m now relaxing on the couch watching the red carpet for the Oscars - boooorrrrriiiinnnnnggggg - but theres nothing else on. I think I will check out my dailies and do some commenting.. I haven’t been on too much the past few days so I need to check’em out!

Wizard of OZ!

The play last night was fantastic! It was actually one of the most adorable things I’ve ever seen. We got there a bit later, and due to the HUGE line up I had to be seated near the back. So I had friends sitting up in the 2nd row I handed her my camera and asked if she would record Jordan’s part. So, she did. Above is the video. You can’t really see Jordan until about 52 seconds when the main characters go in between the group and then you see Jordan turning around looking at them! Then you see him turn around again.. Anyways, He did a fantastic job and I am one proud Mommy! They came back out again at the end to wave and do bows… Cutest thing ever! Jordan was the 2nd person on stage to walk on and wave… I hooted and hollered. . . It was a great night. Kyla and Ava were amazing they sat there danced to the music, and Ava clapped everytime everyone in the audience clapped. It was truly the cutest thing. After Jordan’s part Peter took the girls into the Kindergarten room which was beside the gym - where the Principal before the show said we could take toddlers if they got restless. Poor Kyla kept asking if she could go play on stage with the kids - so hubby took them to the room to play while I watched the rest of the show. I’m amazed at how well all these kids did. They were ages 4-9 in the play it was really cute!

My hubby just went to pick up my new laptop before he went into work so I’ll have that tonight when he gets home from work - which its killing me to wait - but I will :P Leave nice comments on how cute all these little Kindergarten Poppys were in this play! SO SO SO CUTE!

It’s play day!

Tonight is the play at Jordan’s school! I’m very excited… As is he, he told me last night he hopes I don’t cry unless it’s a happy cry! LOL.. Hes so funny, I told him at special things like that I always cry happy! :) Him and I will be leaving a little earlier than Peter and the girls. We have to be there by 6pm so Jordan can get into his costume with his class, but I think we’ll go up about 5:40pm to get close enough seats that I can video Jordan’s part.. Plus I’ll have to save 2 extra seats so I’d like to get there a bit earlier. We’re going to just let the girls sit on our laps and our family friend Allen is also going to be attending. Hopefully the video will turn out, The one from last years “Peter Pan” play taped very well from my digital camera but this year I have a new one with not the best zoom and with it being so dark in the gym I’m hoping it turns out ok! Peter is off today at 230pm so its going to be a great night I’m very proud and anxious to see my not-so-little boy up on that stage!

I’ve decided tomorrow I am going to lease a new laptop. I just got this computer less than 2 years ago but with all the downloading and all the kids messing with it it’s really slow and really messing up a lot. And I’d like to have this for the kids to play on - Jordan loves playing learning games, and games on Treehouse and Disney so this can be everyones computer and I’ll be able to use the laptop to do whatever I need to wherever I need to. I’m also finding it very hard to sit on this hard chair at the computer, my poor back and butt aren’t too fond of it so it will be nice to have a laptop again to sit on the couch, floor or even up on my bed. So, I’m sending my hubby in the morning to pick it up before work and tomorrow night when he gets home I’ll have a new toy to tinker with.

Saturday we are taking the kids to McDonald’s for lunch then off to play for the afternoon at Cosmic Adventures again.. The place this occured.. but let someone ever try that one again. We haven’t been since then, and the kids need to get out and have some fun. We keep getting more snow and rain on top of the sow so it’s not even decent enough outside to take the kids into the backyard for some snowman making/angel making.. So we’ll go again and have some fun. I feel bad for any parent who even looks at me or my kids the wrong way this time around.. Ohhh lordy :D

Well the girls just went down for a nap - later than usual but thats because we’ll be getting home just after their bedtime tonight so hopefully they get a good nap.. While they nap I’m going to clean and do my hair considering its still damp from my shower like 4 hrs ago before hubby left for work…. Hope everyone has a great Thursday, I’ll post again tomorrow! :)

22 weeks!

Today marks 22 weeks in my pregnancy! Only 18 more to go.. :) How exciting! It still seems so far away though, but that’s ok I’m loving every minute of this!!!

WEEK 22:

Fetal development in pregnancy week 22: The grow must go on! No wonder you’re getting so big, you’re now housing a wonder-baby who weighs nearly a pound and measures nearly a foot in length. Their perfect little pancreas is now further developed and they’ve also started producing their own hormones! Their inner ear is now developed to the point that they have their own sense of balance. Lucky for your little explorer, balance also promotes physical dexterity, which has them actively feeling out their surroundings where skin, body parts, and the resident umbilical cord are the big sensory experiences. Your baby’s brain is growing daily. His senses are also starting develop. He can hear the sound of your heart along with your breathing. As he wiggles her fingers, he may touch her face or even suck his thumb. His lungs are becoming more mature, and he even goes through the motions of breathing. He can also swallow, although he won’t have her first real meal until delivery day.

We made a quick run to Costco today. Of course I had to take advantage and got some junk food goodies. Along with whats in the photo we also got a ton of fruit and veggies (they were in the fridge by the time I took the photo!) . We always go to the small store by our house and get the .5 cent candies in baggies because I crave those often, and chocolate so instead we bought it in bulk so hopefully no trips to the little store for a while! :D The crisp veggies and fruit they had too was wonderful. We got 2 bags of bananas, apples and tons of vegs. We didn’t need anything else really as we just got groceries this past Saturday, but it never fails we always leave Costco having spent $200-$300. That’s the price you pay to get in bulk, which to us is soo worth it!

I’m really exhausted. The kids are all fed, and we’re going to go bath them in a few minutes and get them in their jammies… Watch some tv, read some books and get them into bed around 730 tonight.. Then hubby and I are going to watch a movie, and eat some yummy Roast Beef he made with all the yummy trimmings (he even made lemon-dill roasted potatoes for me to try!) so that should be nice.. I’m hoping to get to bed at a decent time tonight, I’m overly exhausted.

I added today’s 22 week pregnancy pic - - which by the way I found out the hard way today just how big I’m getting - - I am having a very HARD time bending over to do up my shoes! HAHA… Already!!! Anyways, hope you all have a great Tuesday night.. I’m off.
