So I lost the item I was bidding on through eBay. Thats ok though because instead I searched the “buy now” option and found a really cute diaper bag that I’ve wanted for a little while and snatched that up. I’m still very nervous though because I’ve never bought anything off eBay. Let’s hope it actually comes and I am not one of the ton that gets ripped off. Here’s a pic of it. On another note I’ve gone back to yet again - no sleeping! Last night was AWFUL. Not only have I been having horrible, horrible round ligament pains but if I move too quickly it feels like I pull something in my lower abdoman and it drives me nuts. Last night I couldn’t get comfortable and it was WAY too hot in my bedroom. I don’t know why or how because we had our window open and our fan going right on us.. but wow, It took until well after 3am for me to fall asleep and when I did I was then up every few minutes to pee, or move a cat off the bed or hearing car horns honking… It was bad. Today I’m surprised I’m not grumpy or falling asleep.. Which is good because the kids don’t deserve a grumpy Mommy or a falling asleep Mommy either! I’ll be 33 weeks on Saturday so the end is near…. but then starts the whole other kind of “Sleepless nights” I am however up for the challenge!

Well see.. All I needed to do was blog and say “WHERE THE HECK IS EVERYONE?” and people would pop up! I understand people are busy and have lives offline - I do too, and lets face it I haven’t been the best blogger/commenter in the last 2 weeks either. I’m getting better though.. I’ve just been so preoccupied with the nice weather and making sure the kids get outside enough. I do miss blogging even though most days I don’t write about anything of substance.

Last night I placed my 1st bid on an auction on eBay. I’m rather excited about it - Of course I didn’t do what you are supposed to do and wait until the last minute to place a bid… Instead I was the 1st bidder and its still got a few more days remaining.. We’ll see. The person has a bunch of items the same as the one I placed a bid on so here’s to hoping I get it! If need be I’ll wait and place some bids at the last minute.. But I don’t think I’ll need to, I think I just might get lucky! I was browsing a lot of things on that site and found a ton of wholesale handbags, diaper bags, a load of baby things and anything else you could want. I’m sure everyone knows this already but I’m fairly new to buying online and this eBay thing. I’m not too sure how much I trust it or rather the sellers. But we’ll see. The girl who is offering the auction I bid on has 100% good feedback and I read through quite a bit of comments so I’m confident.

Anyways, today is a bit chilly out but it is very nice. Sunshine and a breeze isn’t too bad. I like this kind of weather instead of the sun burning your skin after 5 minutes of being outside. Sweater weather is my favorite. So hopefully I get the kids outside this afternoon. I just put BOTH girls down for a nap - I’m hoping Kyla naps for at least an hour since she doesn’t nap anymore.. but she woke up last night quite a bit and came to snuggle was us for a little while.. She’s tired, so when they wake up I’m going to get them outside for a little while. Until then I’m going to relax and hopefully I will get around to making some cupcakes today.

What are you doing today?

Yesterday was beautiful out. A little too hot for this Mama as stated below but the day was fantastic. I had the kids outside for pretty much the whole afternoon. We went to our neighbors and the kids got to play with her kids, and they got to go in a little kiddie pool that was all warm water.

Jordan loves the water. He’s always been a fish when it comes to water, but Ava… my gosh! She is just the same. She got right in and wouldn’t get out! Kyla has always been a little stand offish about the water. It took her a while to actually get in and when she did though she didn’t want to get out! It was great. The girls house we were at she has 2 daughters; 4 and 2. They all get along so well together which is great.

I got a bit of a sunburn on my face and my arms. I don’t mind it doesn’t hurt and its not bad or anything - I’m just glad I’ll get a bit of color because it will turn into a tan rather quickly. Today it’s raining and pretty gloomy out so it is indeed an inside day. Jordan is at school, and the girls, hubby and I are just hanging out doing things around the house. When we cleaned out our basement a few Saturdays ago we found a ton of college textbooks in a box that I have no idea what to do with. I know you can sell them back to the college so I want to look into that… We kept the box just for that reason - and they are all new never been used. Plus I want to see if I can find the last few items I need for myself for when baby comes online today.

Well, I hope everyone is having a great Tuesday. I’m in a pretty “meh” mood today. I’m going to go visit some dailies, and those who commented in my last entry.. Still wondering where a lot of you people went?

No one seems to be blogging anymore and all my normal commenters are MIA…. Where is everyone????

I hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful weather (if you are getting it too!) today is a little bit too much on this preggo mama.. I’m dying already and it’s the beginning of the nice weather. The extra 34lbs I’m carrying around is turning me into a big wuss.

What’s Happening with Your Body

Only a few weeks to go and you’re probably counting down the days! No wonder, with all the aches and pains throughout your body. But along with a sore back and swollen ankles, you may notice less painful signs that delivery day is around the corner. A whitish to clear fluid may leak out of your breasts. This foremilk, called colostrum, will sustain your baby for the first few days of his life if you choose to breastfeed. You may also have a whitish, vaginal discharge called leukorrhea. It’s getting close and I’m feeling a bit anxious now!!! I can’t wait. I am loving every minute of being pregnant but I’m so ready to meet our baby boy. Our kids are ready, we’re ready! I am anxious but I’m hoping with the weather being so wonderful lately the time will start to fly on by. The past few days I’ve hardly been getting online because my kids are outside crazy and I’ve had them outside playing, playing with kids from 2 doors down, and at the park. I’m starting to get really tired of people saying I look like I’m ready to give birth already and “oh my god you are so big” seriously - just stop. Or else I’m going to take my family and go on a cruise and never look back! Well, one can wish right? :) It didn’t really start bothering me until recently. Because it seems everyone has to tell me. Oh well 8 weeks to go until I’m due so I’ll suck it up until then!

I went to my OB appointment this afternoon. All is well. Baby is head down, and I’ve gained another 2lbs since my last appointment last Friday! :) Now all together I’ve gained 34lbs. Not too shabby. I asked the doctor if when he measures if he thinks the baby will be a big big and he says the baby is measuring perfectly for how far along I am… so we’ll see. I never listen to that when they say it.

I knew baby was head down at least for the last couple of days… He’s been in weird positions lately and it really hurts at times… And I can feel his head down there. His feet are always up in my ribs too… That’s fun.

Anyways, I took Jordan with me to my appointment today and I took a pic of him at the waterfront out behind the hospital. It was beautiful.. You can’t tell in the picture but I could have sat there all day just watching the water, listening to the waves.. It was very relaxing and he really enjoyed it. He said today was one of his best days ever! Here’s a quick, horrible pic from my blackberry….

Anyways, that’s it for me today. I’m going to finish checking out these greeting cards online because I need to pick out a few for my Aunt who’s birthday AND wedding anniversary is coming up soon and she loves silly, cute online cards. Of course I’ll send her one snail mail too - but online is always fun too! Then I’m going to go watch the ending of “Superman” with Jordan then get him tucked into bed. I had the kids outside most of the day today only to come in for bathroom breaks, meals and then of course bath, story time and bedtime… I’m starting to get pretty tired so I won’t be long before going to bed myself. Well finally last night I was able to get a really good nights rest!!! It’s about time! I actually fell asleep just after midnight I believe and slept straight through until this morning without getting up even once to pee!! Which is huge considering most nights thats all I do! But I really needed it. Even though I got great rest I’m still exhausted. Like the beginning of my pregnancy I’m back to being tired 24/7 no matter what. Which is ok, to me that says the end is near! :)

Today when my hubby came home in between his shifts and he picked Jordan up from school I found myself on the couch almost in tears over a position the baby was in. WOW did it ever hurt. He stayed like that until I moved on both sides, and eventually had to get up and move around. That was not fun. All I could think of doing was looking down at my belly and saying “Gee, thanks baby!” so so so painful. Lets hope he realizes Mommy didn’t enjoy that position so he stays out of it! :)

Tomorrow I have another OB appointment. At my last one last Friday when they sent me over to Labor and Delivery he wanted me back in a week instead of 2.. so tomorrow at 1:30pm I’ll be at the hospital for my OB appointment. I’m looking forward to seeing if I’ve gained yet again more weight or if I’m going to start being steady with the weight now that we’re in the final 2 months. We’ll see. I’m really glad I am in Canada and not having a hard time finding a health insurance lead or dealing with all that American’s have to when it comes to health coverage. Although when it comes time to give birth I have to pay out of pocket $185 a day for a semi-private room that was my choice.. I have heard that in the US it can cost up to thousands of dollars to have a baby in a hospital…. (not sure if thats only c-sections or what) but I’m glad I am where I am to give birth. Plus, I love my hospital! :) I’ll update again tomorrow when I get back from my appointment. Hope you all have a great Thursday!

Well I’m getting better. Two posts in one day again.. I haven’t done that in a while. I miss blogging though. I have so much to say all the time but am always too tired to jump on and write… Anyways…

A few weeks ago I wrote about purchasing a few things online. I got the two Jenny McCarthy books and I also bought Personalized Pacifiers online too. I received the books already and posted about it but today I got the personalized pacifiers… I’m beyond stoked about them they are adorable and the second I opened the package I started to cry. I’m pretty sure it’s just pregnancy hormones since I’ve been crying a lot lately over nothing.. but it hit me seeing his name written on the soother that he is really coming. I’ve always wanted 2 girls and 2 boys - and finally I’ll have my completed family! He is coming very soon. I figured I’d post a pic of them because they are adorable!

And yes - We are naming the baby Jayden! :) I think it’s safe to post since we found out the reason we didn’t want to make it public (other family members expecting too) are having a girl - - so yes, baby Jayden got some new stylish soothers!

I think I’ll be off to bed now. I didn’t get any sleep last night as previously mentioned in the post below, so I’m extremely tired.. I thought it would be nice to pop in since I was just checking out online for some ceiling fans for the kids rooms for this summer.. Hope everyone has a great night… Lets hope I get some sleep! :)

Yesterday I went out and bought the last few baby items we need. Just over a year ago we gave away everything we had baby - Swing, bouncer, exersaucer, bassinet, all of it - so we got the 3-in-1 for baby to sleep in our room for the first 6 months a few months back… We’ve had his crib for a little bit so yesterday I went out and bought a new swing, bouncer chair and car seat! It feels great having everything all thats left to buy is diapers and really, thats nothing to get! A lot of stress has been lifted off me having all the things here and ready for his arrival. He is due in 59 days!

Last night I had the worst sleep experience yet. Not only were my legs really hurting but my back was really aching too I just couldn’t get comfortable or stay asleep. It wasn’t fun. I’ve never had this happen with any of my other pregnancies so I’m not really used to it. Today I don’t have very much to do which is good because I am so beyond exhausted.

I’ve been trying to do some random baking to keep me busy and get the kids involved in something fun. The other day we made lemon tarts. They turned out so good, I love lemon. My kids love eating the lemon out of the tart shells. Anyone have any good idea for things I can bake and get the kids involved with helping?? Any suggestions would be great!
