Tomorrow is Halloween! But I’m writing this now because I probably won’t be able to jump online tomorrow.. Jordan has a halloween party he’s going to from 3pm-5pm… a little girl from his classes! He’s super excited for that, then we’ll be heading out trick-or-treating!! A lot of people this year seem to be so against Halloween. I love it… I wish I was dressing up with the kiddos but instead I’ll just be pushing Jayden around in his big stroller with lots of blankies… as he’s dressed up as a Bumblebee! Jordan is going as either a Ninja or a guy from Fantastic 4 hes not sure yet, we have both costumes… Kyla is going as a pink poodle and Ava as Winnie The Pooh! I couldn’t believe she picked Pooh and I’m so excited she did.. she looks SO freakin’ cute! They all do, I can’t wait to get them dressed and take pics! Look for those on Sunday! :)

A lot of drama has been going on the last 2 days.. I don’t even know where to begin to describe it.. Let’s just say women can be VERY crazy scary over men even in their 30’s and its scary. I could see myself going gaga over someone at 14 or 15 years old, but in my 30’s if a relationship didn’t work out.. so be it. At some point before people turn 30 I’d expect some maturity… but apparently, some people missed the memo when it was time to grow up. I can’t get over how people act… and the lies they spew to hide/justify their creepy behavior. I won’t put up with being in the middle because I’m friends with said guy.. Said girl needs to take a pill or two and step the heck off…. DRAMA I tell ya…. DRAMA!!

Anyways, My hubby had to go to the dentist yesterday to get his plate fixed… Too bad we don’t live near Plano cosmetic dentist because it would probably be fixed by now.. but instead he has to go back on Nov 9th.. which he’ll get it and be getting his molars pulled or something! I cringe over teeth pulling so I try to not listen when it comes to dentists… they freak me out!

We are back! We got home around 930pm on Sunday night! We all had such an amazing time. Saturday morning my mother in law showed up at 6:45am and we loaded everything into the van. Got the kids into their car seats and off we went… We stopped about an hour and a half into the trip to grab some breakfast from Tim Hortons and off we went again. We went to my husband’s grandma’s house first. She’s never met Jayden and has only seen the other kids two or three times so it was a nice little visit. We stayed about half an hour to 45 minutes and off we went to my sister in law’s place. Half an hour drive from his Grandmas. We got there and about 15 minutes into it my hubby and his mom had to leave to go do some things and I hung out for the day with my sister in law, brother in law and all 6 kids! (My 4 and her 2!) Around 5pm Hubby and his mom got back, and at 530 his mom left for the night… We ate dinner, hung out, played with the kids, got the kids in bed then we just looked through some of their old family photos and talked til 11pm when we all went to bed!

The next morning we got up at 8am! Got everyone ready, kids ate breakfast and by 1030 am Mother in law was back to drive the kids and us downtown Toronto for the day for shopping. We stopped again at my hubbys Grandmas so the 3 older kids and us could say goodbye to her.. Jayden was going back to her house with my mother in law for the day while we all went shopping! So we got into Toronto around 12pm and took the kids onto the subway.. We then went to eat, back on subway and got our shop on! It was so much fun. The kids had a blast, and I was just amazed by the sights and buildings. Jordan was very scared at first he said the buildings were too big and when he looked up at the CN tower he thought it was going to fall on him.. Poor guy. The Subway scared him a bit too. We went on it 4x and by the 3rd time he was a pro and totally fine! I got 2 chanel purses, a chanel bracelet and I found some fake LV sunglasses on the ground!! My hubby got a leather jacket and we just shopped around before heading on the road home at 5pm.. I posted some photos above, you can see the rest on my flickr.

Now while the kids nap and my hubby is entertaining Jayden because he’s off today! I’m going to look at some outdoor lighting for our backyard. I have a really good light that comes on when theres any movement back there but I want something as well to put back there that is always in when dark…. wish me luck!:) I’m thinking clear lights for around the fence like my neighbors or maybe even solar lights just to put around the back grass? We’ll see!

I need to get a new tv for our bedroom. I was looking into a Samsung. I think they are a great brand.. So if you too are looking for a tv or any electronice equipment I’d suggest anything by samsung. My mom used to swear by them, and I’ve never had a problem so hopefully I can find a good fit for our bedroom since our bedroom tv seems like it will crap out at any second!

We’ve been counting down with the kids… 2 more sleeps until we wake up at 6am to get ready to go to Toronto! The kids can’t wait to see their cousins and to go shopping on the Sunday… They are ecstatic about going on a Subway. None of us (with the exception of my husband who used to live in TO) have ever been on a Subway before! I’m a little nervous, but the kids can’t wait so we’ll see how it goes. I can’t wait to go shopping there and getting my Christmas shopping started! We aren’t going for a super long time we are leaving at about 7am-730am on Saturday morning and will be heading back around 5pm on Sunday night. With 4 kids the ages we have - you don’t need a super long trip this will be plenty! We’ll have a nice visit Saturday, nice fun shopping Sunday then I’m sure everyone will be more than ready to come home!

I want to start Chistmas shopping on eBay soon too. Theres some video games and other misc things I’ve found on there that I’d like to get for some people for Christmas. It’s much cheaper buying brand new on eBay from the US than buying brand new in the stores here I’m finding. So I’m going to start doing that after our trip. I was searching and I found classroom desks. So if theirs anyone in the market for some desks check it out! I have a few more minutes before the kids should be up from their naps so I’m going to read/comment at my faves… If I don’t post again before I go I’ll have lots of photos to add to my flickr when I get back and I’ll post some on here also. Hopefully I can squeeze another post in before I leave though… Hopefully..

Today its so nice outside. It’s chilly but nothing like it’s been the past week or two. I took Jordan and Kyla this morning out shopping with me. Jordan got a new winter snow suit, and Kyla picked out a new hat. I’m taking her and Ava out on Tuesday to get all new winter things as well. Where we went this morning didn’t have that great of a choice for the girls… and Kyla wants something with Barbie or Princess anyways, and I’m sure Ava will want Dora so we’ll be going to Wal-Mart!

I’ve been putting away laundry, and just hanging out. A lot of people seem to be in really bad moods today and it’s starting to get to me…

I’ve had a really bad headache since I woke up this morning. Nothing seems to be getting rid of it. I haven’t had much food today either, I’m really not hungry. I don’t need an appetite suppressant I get migraines… Sure way to make me not eat… I get them a lot and they are awful. I’m on medication for them but some of them are too strong even for the meds. Today I went and got my new perscription Birth Control. I was on the generaic brand of Alesse called Avian and it was making me gain weight, loose my hair in clumps and I just needed something with a lower dose of hormones so I got Ortho-Lo.. hopefully I’ll see a change and be able to use these ones!

Hope everyone had a great weekend.. My hubby is off tonight and we’re supposed to be having a movie date in again tonight just the two of us when the kids go to bed.. But I’m not sure if thats still the plan or not.. but for now I’m off to finish putting some laundry away.

In need of some : home insurance? It would be a good idea.. You never know if or when someone might break in, or with how unpredictable the weather can be.. Home insurance would be a great idea! I’m looking into getting some for my home, I should have done it a long time ago but I really didn’t think about it untilr recently, and now I think it’s a must have!

Last night the kids and I made cupcakes. They helped me mix, and pour then once they were cooled they helped me decorate the cupcakes! Kyla wanted sprinkles but a few weeks ago she found them on the counter and decided it would be funny to dump them on the floor. Me? I didn’t find it so funny…. lol so instead she chose to put gummibears on some. Then we put chocolate chips on them! They chose chocolate icing instead of vanilla and these are the final product. So good! I am going to see if we can make mini ones next week and decorate them for halloween. Maybe even let them chose the halloween decorations for on top of them at bulk barn! They all love doing it so much.

I say it all the time and I’ll say it again.. I can’t believe he’s 4 months old already and 18lbs.. hes going to be a big boy! I was going thru my archives the other day reading a few posts leading up to his birth and it seems like just yesterday…. oh where has the time gone?

Its funny you always hear people saying to cherish the time while your kids are young because it goes by so quickly, but when your young you are like “REALLY? am I EVER going to become an adult?” its so funny. When your young you want to be older, but when your older and your kids are young you want them to stay young for as long as possible. I do cherish my kids, as I will when they get older but right now watching them grow and learn.. its an amazing thing!

Well, my hubby is leaving for work in about 5 minutes so I have to make this short. The kids and I are going to just relax and hang out today. It’s chilly outside so we’re going to stay in, have some popcorn and watch a movie. Later on I might get them to help me cook dinner too… I’m doing shake-n-bake chicken and they love doing the shaking!!! I love getting them involved they love helping and its so cute to watch! Later on when the kids all go to bed I’ll be online for a short while to comment on sites and to help a friend of mine find some wedding invitations. So for now I will end this and I hope everyone has a great Saturday and stay warm… it’s chilly all over! :)

In the near future we are thinking about buying a house. We’ve been looking around getting quotes and trying to see how much we need to save up for the type/size of house we want. I came across free insurance quotes. I’d like to get insurance as well. I should have it on the place we live in now because of all the idiots in the neighborhood trying to break into houses around mine. No one has attempted to break into mine - probably because someone is ALWAYS home! But thats a god thing… so if you are looking to move, or need some insurance check it out!

Well as you can see I’ve changed the look again. I love it this time, last time I did too but it was a little too plain for me this is plain too but I like that its black and white! This one will be staying up for a while though. I kept trying to tweek stuff last night and I’d delete stuff that wasn’t supposed to be deleted. Twice I had to re-do everything, which drove me nuts but now its just the way I want it!

Next weekend the family and my mother in law are going down to Toronto! We live about 2 hours away, and my husband is from there so we’re going to visit his sister, her kids and his grandma! His Grandma hasn’t met Jayden yet but she’s met the other kids, so I’m really looking forward to her meeting our newest little one! She’s 83 now I think, or 82 and shes just the cutest! I also can’t wait for my kids to play with their 2 little cousins at my SILs! That should be really fun! We’re leaving early on the 24th and will be back I think by Sunday night! It will be nice to get away….. Its much needed!

I think it is almost time to turn our heat on! It’s starting to get really chilly outside and it won’t be long before inside starts to get chilly too. Right now its ok and everyone is wearing slippers and long sleeves/pants anyways but soon it will be necessary. We’ll need to get some furnace filters then we’ll be all set!!!

Tonight after dinner, which the kids asked if we could have breakfast for dinner! (so yummy - scrambled eggs, toast, sausages and mini breakfast potatoes..yum!) the kids helped me make funfetti cupcakes! The kids enjoy helping me cook/bake so it was fun. I told them they can help me decorate them tonight before bed once they’ve cooled! That should be interesting…and messy I’m sure!

Well before I end this I just want to ask everyone send fast recovery thoughts to my BFF A… she had surgery this morning and it went really well, so let’s all send her good thoughts for a speedy recovery! :) One of the strongest women I’ve ever met she is!
